Chapter twenty eight

Nico

Dear Diary,

Me and Percy got home from the hospital about a month ago. It's been pretty nice at school. The Art Teacher here, has this, um, assistant teacher I guess? You'll never guess who the assistant teacher is. Okay you probably will guess and have already but I'll tell you anyway cause I'm fricken the firck out of the frick.

It's Rachel! Rachel Dare. Apparently Drew was totally bitching about me after we left so then Rachel just up and slapped her then walked right out the front door! Crazy right? No, but you don't even know the beginning! So then later Calypso realized Drew was a bitch but Calypso is pretending to me her friend! At least she was a few months ago, I haven't gotten a letter from her in like weeks. 

No but now Rachel and Calypso are both 18 and they went there separate ways. Rachel came here to teach art, and Calypso is traveling the world on a cruise ship discovering islands and shit. Calypso is kinda like a pen pall, our whole gang fricks when we get a letter from her but it's always addressed to me.

Sorry if I seem to upbeat and out of character, a lot has happened since I last wrote. Me and Perce went on this amazing date last night and we actually kissed in public but nobody gave two shits! EAT YOUR EYES OUT CLARISSE

I closed my diary quickly as Percy came to sit behind me under our tree. "Hey Neeks, wassup?" He said smirking. "Uh... Nothing...." I said dismissively placing my diary beside me. "Is that what I think it is?" Percy said grinning.

"Um, well, that depends what you think it is." I said. "A diary?" "Nooooo....." "Nico?" "Maybe...." "Nico." "yes." I hung my head a little in fake shame and Percy laughed and patted my back. "I love you Nico, and your weird diaries and shit that you talk to like people." Percy said. I blushed a little, no, a lot.

So it was just me and Percy, sitting under the tree we had our second kiss. Yup. Nothing weird happening here. As Bianca would say, "Just two gay guys sittin' under a tree? I think not." I smiled remembering that day in the hospital. Jeez, I think I have to many memories of hospitals.

Percy snapped his fingers in front of my face, snapping me out of my thoughts. I looked up and realized his face was inches from mine, I could feel his breath on my face as it blew my hair out of my eyes.

"Nico, did you hear me?" Percy said softly. I shook my head slightly embarrassed. Percy smirked and moved his lips over to my ear whispering "Can I kiss you?" softly. I shivered as breath rapped around my ear. 

 He slowly pressed his lips against mine, and I couldn't help but smirk at how feverish he was. Our kiss was interrupted by an all to failure feminine voice saying "Jeez guys, you know I could put you in detention for this, right?"

Me and Percy broke apart and  looked up to see a certain smug red-headed teacher staring us down. Did I mention Rachel has been playing up the whole teacher rule ever since she got there, she even makes us call her Miss Dare, and she will literally use the detention threat fifteen times per hour.

"Ugh Rachel what-" but she cut me off with a glare saying "That's Miss Dare to you." I glared at her and said "What do you want!" "So how are thing going with Hazel" Rachel said sitting  down next to us. "Nothing. She just think I'm a friend. She knows nothing." I spat.

Rachel held up her hands in fake surrender and said "God Nico, I only asked!" I growled and said "Dude. This is my long lost sister your talking about." Rachel just rolled her eyes and got up before saying "Touche touche."

"Oh Percy don't wanna be late for your swim class!" Rachel called to Percy even though he was already running off. Rachel stood up and offered be a hand, witch I took. after me and her both brushed the dirt Rachel said "So, wanna come help me set up a presentation for art? I hear you can draw."

I blushed and nodded before following her. We were almost half way to the class room when I realized I had forgotten a certain book of mine the roots of a tree. I stopped in my tracks and horror filled me, I quickly grabbed my and dug threw it only to find my diary was missing.

"What's wrong Neeks?" Rachel mused. "I though we discussed this, only Percy can call me Neeks. And, I forgot something I have to go back get your presentation started without me." I said quickly before turning heel and running back to the tree.

When I go to the tree I saw no book lying in the roots. What the fuck is wrong with my why the hell am I constantly leaving books under trees? Don't sweat it you did get to talk to Percy cause you lost the last book maybe you'll make a friend from this one! Fat chance. I mentally argued with myself as I looked around the roots and in the branches, under near by rocks and patches of grass.  "shit shit shitty shit shit shiiiiiiit fuck it!" I screamed as I slammed my fists into the tree resting my forehead on them.

Someone behind me cleared said "Are you looking for this?" I quickly spun around expecting to see Josh, the school bully behind me but instead there was this scrawny yet powerful messy hair and dull eyes kid holing out my book. He spoke with such authority it made me want to shiver.

I stood up quickly and took it saying "Uhhh.... Yeah. Thanks." the kid just smiled and nodded forcing me to be the social one. I scratched the back of my neck awkwardly before holding out a hand for him to shake saying "I'm Nico, hi."

"I am Octavian, nice to meet you Nico. You are Percy's boyfriend, yes?" I looked at him in shock after that. "How..." I glanced at the book saying "Did you like read it or...?" The kid just shook his head and said "No. I am an old friend of Percy's, but I would advise against telling him I'm here, I have suprise for him." 

I nodded. This kid seemed nice enough. Maybe I was wrong about not making a friend today. "well, I... I'll see you around, Octavian. I have to go to class. And don't worry about Percy, I won't say a thing." I smiled before walking away diary in hand.

After school I was walking off to my dormitory when a voice called my name. I turned to see Octavian standing there. "Yes?" I said smiling. "Percy asked me to tell you to meet him at the beach, and that it was important as hell." I was a little shocked but I nodded and quickly ran off calling farewell.

I got to the beach and Percy was no where to be seen, so I sat down in the sand in front of a patch of doongrass watching waves lap at the shore. I sat there for five minuets, then ten, then the ten turned to twenty and to thirty.

It was starting to get cold and I tugged my aviater jacket around me tighter though the thin fabric never offered much protection to begin with. I felt my eyelids grow heavy and I began to drift off to sleep despite the btining win and droping tempeture. I hope Percy get's here soon, or at least wakes me up.

I woke up from my nap who knows how long later. The sky was pitch black now and stares speckled it as the moon hung half way up the sky. It was freezing out and my neck hurt badly from seeping on doon grass. As I sat there in ice cold weather only one thought filled my mind, Where the hell is Percy fucking Jackson?

A/N HAHA CLIFFY AGAIN WHOOP WHOOP YEAH BUT YOU LOVE ME ANYWAYS YAY....... But gods Nico how stupid can you be to fall for Octavian's tricks like that? He was pretty dam good at tricking him though.
