Chapter 12

*Dan's P.O.V *

Me and Becca left her house holding hands and with big grins of excitement on our happy faces. It was quite clear that Becca was really excited about going to Goose Fair. It would be great fun for me and her to go on all the romantic rides.

We walked to the bus stop and got on the bus to town. When it was time for us to get off, Becca practically ran down the stairs with excitement. It was so cute that she was acting like a 6 year old getting a puppy for Christmas. I had to run down them to catch up with her. As I was running down them, I slipped on one of my laces and fell down the last 5 steps of the stairs. Luckily there was no one else on the bus apart from us two and the driver so no one saw me fall. I got up and limped off the bus like nothing happened. I tried playing it cool but I think it was quite obvious that I'd hurt myself.

Becca linked her arm into mine to steady me as well as to look like a cute couple. We walked to the fair grounds and walked around a bit looking for the couple rides. The first one we saw was the tunnel of love. It looked cute so I payed the guy at the ticket booth and we got onto the ride. Becca was anxious with anticipation. We sat in the love heart shaped seats and waited for some more people to get on. Then off we went.

We stumbled off the ride holding hands. That ride was awesome. I think Becca enjoyed the ride more than anyone on the ride.

"Can we ride it again? Can we ride it again? Can we ride it again?" she asked excitedly, jumping around like a little girl.

I had to grab her shoulders to literally keep her on the ground. "Yes! Okay, but only because it's you and I love you".

"Yaaaaay! Wooo, come on let's get back in line. Thanks baby." she said and then gave me a big hug. We got back into the line, payed for another ticket and got back into the love heart shaped seats, waited for some more people to get into their seats and off we went for the second time round.

"Wooooo!" We both screamed towards the end of the ride, with both of our arms in the air.

We got off the ride and we were both excited and full of energy. It was actually really fun the second time round. Especially that Becca was more excited this time. We also went on some other ride. We went on a ride called Wild Mouse. It looked small and slightly babyish, but we both really enjoyed it. It went round quite fast to say that it looked like a childish ride. We were both screaming with our arms waving in the air. It was so much fun, I wish we could go on it again but I didn't have enough money to go on anymore rides. I only had money for lunch.

We walked over to a burger van and grabbed some fast food. I had a cheese burger and chips and Becca had a hotdog with loads of tomato ketchup. For such a pretty girl, she's such a pig. We went over to some benches and sat down at them and ate our food. She took one bite into her hotdog and most of the ketchup was down her top already. She wiped it up with a napkin and carried on eating her hotdog. After the next few bites she got ketchup all round her mouth and she didn't even realise. I couldn't help but laugh at her eating. She is such a messy eater but she's so cute whilst she does it though.

I was still laughing and she looked at me a little self consciously. She said "What? Is there something on my face or something?"

I couldn't even speak, I was practically crying with laughter. When I had finally calmed down I pointed at my own face to where the ketchup was and she tried wiping it off but she was just smudging it around her face. Aw. She obviously didn't know where it was so I got a fresh napkin and wiped it off of her face for her.
