Chapter 26

*Becca's P.O.V*

I was rushed into a ambulance and on the way back to the materinity ward in City Hospital. Dan said that I should go alone and then he would meet me at the hospital. He needed to tend to my mum, seeing as I wasn't in the mood to be dealing with her. He's such a good guy, I'm so lucky to have him.

My bump was hurting a little. I could feel the little buggers kicking me. It hurt but in a way I liked the pain. It kept making me remember that they were both alive, which is great!

I was back on the materinity ward with a nurse doing a scan over my bump to make sure both twins were okay.

"Hi, honey. What's your name?" she asked me.

"Rebecca. Rebecca Chambers. Please, call me Becca."

"Okay, Becca. Let's see if these little babies of yours are okay. Lift up your top for me please."

I did as I was told and she put a jelly like substance over my little bump. She used the scanner over the bump to see both twins on the screen.

"Okay, so I can see them both which is good news," she said. Suddenly her face dropped.

*Dan's P.O.V*

I made my way down to the hospital to see my babies, and my girl. I just hope I don't miss anything by the time I get there.

"Hi, I'm here to see Rebecca Chambers." I said to the receptionist.

"Relationship?" she asked bluntly.

"Boyfriend."

"Materinity ward. Bed 3."

"Thanks."

I jumped into the lift before the doors closed on me and made my way up to the ward.

I thought about telling the receptionist on the materinity ward that I was here to see Becca, but I thought there was no point seeing as she was totally oblivious to the fact that people walked in and out of this ward like it's McDonald's on a saturday afternoon.

I found Becca's bed and she was having another scan done when the nurse was frowning. Something bad must be happening.

"Oh good! I thought you weren't going to turn up." Becca sighed in relief.

"Of course I'm going to turn up. I wouldn't wanna miss this. This is important stuff!"

The nurse was still scrolling the scanner around Becca's bump and then she stopped.

"Um... Is everything okay, nurse?" I asked confused to why she suddenly put the process to a halt.

"Well... No. It's not good news, guys."

"What is it? Tell us. Please?!" Becca asked impatiently.

"Well, you're still having twins which is great. It's just that - that -"

"That what?!" I shouted, starting to get impatient with this nurse.

"One of them is going to be disabled. Because of Becca's fall, she's damaged one of twins, therefore one of them is going to be disabled."
