Chapter 8

*Becca's P.O.V*

After I left the house with Dan, he walked me to the bus stop and I caught the bus. I waved good bye and blew him a kiss and then he walked off.

I got off at Alexis' stop and walked to her house. I knocked on the door and her dad opened it.

He said "Hey, Rebecca. Go straight up, she's waiting upstairs."

"Hi, Mr D," I said. His last name was Duncan "Alright, thank you."

"Before you go, do you want a drink?" He asked me.

"Yes please. Can I have some apple juice please?"

"Sure, I'll get it now. Go upstairs and I'll bring it up for you."

"Thanks mr D" I shouted as I walked up the stairs.

I knocked on her door and she shouted "Yep! Come in."

I walked into her room and I was shocked. I haven't been round to Alexis' house in a along time and her rooms changed a lot since I last went. Me and Alexis have been friends since we were about 6. We went to the same primary school and I went to a different secondary school, then moved to hers.

When I walked in she was sat on her bed on her laptop. She turned to see who it was, realised it was me and a big smile appeared on her face.

Her room was all black with gold and silver stars all over the walls. It was gothic but cute, and I liked it. I guess it showed her personality. She's kind of a dark person and normally in a bad mood so her room fits her perfectly!

"Hey. Come and sit down, don't worry, I may me mardy but I don't bite" she said jokingly.

I did as I was told and sat down next to her on her bed. It looked inviting ansd comfy. As I sat down her dad knocked on the door and came in with my drink.

"Here you go Rebecca" he said and gave me the drink.

Then he left. There was a silence so I thought I'd break it by saying "So. What exactly did you want to tell me then?"

She opened her mouth and then hesitated. She closed it again. She looked like she was thinking. About 20 seconds later she came out with "I don't really know how to tell you. I've always found it hard coming out to people but here it goes."

I think I know what she's going to say, but I'm not too sure so I'll let her speak.

"I'm - I'm - I'm a lesbian." She finally said.

I was so shocked. I actually couldn't believe it but now I know I'm alright with it. I don't mind.

"Um... I don't know what to say. Well, good on you for coming out to me. I really respect you for that, I'm really proud you did as well."

"Oh thank god. I thought you were going to hate me or something."

"No no no. Of course I couldn't hate you, you're my best friend alex. I love you for who you are and remember that I always will okay!"

"Thanks, Bex. You're the best." She said.

After that we were just sat talking about who we liked and our celebrity crushes. Mine was Johnny Depp, Channing Tatum and Zayn Malik. Hers were Megan Fox and Tulisa Contostavlos.
