Chapter 24

*Dan's P.O.V*

After hours and hours of picking, arguing and deciding we finally came to the agreement that if the twins are a boy and a girl. They're going to be called Erica Scarlet and Caleb Phoenix and if they're both girls then Erica Scarlet and Destiny Emerald and if they're both boys Caleb Phoenix and Blake John.

Karen came home to Becca's house from work and we still had to tell her how the scan went and how we were having twins.

*Becca's P.O.V*

"Hey, mum."

"Hi, hun. Oh hey, Dan. Didn't see you there honey."

"Hi, Karen. How was work?"

"Stressful. I couldn't stop thinking about how the scan went. How did the scan go?"

"Amazingly well! We've got some more news to tell you. Do the honours, Bex."

"Mum," there was a very long pause."We're having twins."

"Oh my gosh! Really?"

"Yeah really!" I shouted back getting all excited again.

"This is amazing. Congratulations again," she said crying tears of joy. "Oh look at me. I'm tearing up already. I'm just so shocked that I'm going to be having twin grandchildren already."

"It's a big shock to all of us" Dan added.

"I know right. I'm glad we didn't have to tell everyone at school about it though. It would have been hard."

"Yep. You're right, it would've been," mum said. "Well now that I've been off the drink for about a month, it should be a safe enviroment for the twins to grow up in, right."

"Conrgratulations, Karen. Really well done for not going to the bottle when times have gotten tough."

"Thanks, Dan. It means a lot."

"It's okay. You deserve to be congratulated with all the hard work you've done for not getting a drink when you've really wanted one."

I'm actually really surprised in how close Dan and my mum have gotten. They get on surprisngly well, I'm sure my mum wouldn't even have a problem if I asked her to allow Dan to move in to help out with the children.

I can't wait to go for my next scan so I can find out what I'm having. At my next one were finding out the sex because we need to know what colour to paint the bedroom and nursery and what clothes to buy. We still need to go out and buy a double pram, cots, toys, baby food, bottles and baby books. There's so much for us to do and I'm already about a month into my pregnancy.
