---Louis POV---
"Hello love." I smiled as I answered the phone.
"YOU DIDN'T TELL ME YOUR FRIEND WAS THE MOST SUCCESSFUL LAWYER IN LONDON!" She screamed in a panic.
"Relax. Speak like a normal human or I shall hang up." I stuck my nose up holding back my laughter.
"Louis.. I'm serious. I can't afford to pay him." She sounded like she wanted to cry.
"Really, don't worry about paying him. He's in the US looking for challenging cases and yours would be good for him to get some good experience in being a traveling lawyer like he's always wanted. You'll be doing him a favor." I couldn't hold back my laugh anymore.
"Louis, there's way to many holes in your explanation. Why would one of the most successful lawyers in London.. LONDON want to come to the cruddy US and even cruddier Wyoming to help a soon to be single parent?"
"I hear you and I am taking your concerns into consideration but you have nothing to worry about. He's told me he's tired of going over contracts and helping felons, he wants to help someone in need and you are in need! It's perfect!" I crossed my legs as I sat down.
"Don't you dare do that people pleasing bull. I'm being serious. If he wants to help I want to hear it from him. He has only contacted me once about paperwork. I'd like a chance to at least thank him. Am I allowed to do that?"
"That's actually a reasonable request... Hold on, let me give him a shout real quick."
"Okay.. Just call me back whenever I guess."
"I'll call back in less then twenty minutes." I rolled my eyes with a smirk and hung up and quickly dialed Leo.
-
"What do you want Lou?" He sounded annoyed.
"What's your problem?"
'You are. I know I said I wanted a case where I'd be helping someone in need but this woman is to much of a pushover! She wants to drop charges since there's no gaurantee he'll be serving for a long enough sentence!"
"Are you in Wyoming right now?"
"No, I'm at the airport getting ready to fly to Gillette then I have to drive to her place.. er well the hospital. She's not willing to leave Becky alone." I stood up and looked at my watch.
"What time does your flight take off? You're still in LA right?"
"I am. It leaves in about an hour."
"First, I need you to call Sarina and tell her you want to help, because she's having major doubts and I don't blame her. Next, don't tell her or object. I'm on my way. I'll be there before the plane takes off. We already finished our buisness here and I'm sure Sarina wont mind."
"What about Nate?"
"He'll be here. In the sun and happy..besides, I have to come back here in a month because the deal didn't go through. We're stuck here for the time being doing nothing."
"You sure he wont mind?" I shook my head in annoyance and ran grabbing my luggage.
"I'm positive Nate wont mind."
'Nate won't mind what mate?" I looked up from my bags and saw Nate standing against the door.
"Uh.. Leo, I gotta go. Call Sarina." Before he could respond I hung up and slipped my phone into my pocket.
"I uh.. I'm going on a little detour." I stood up straight and watched him waiting for a reaction.
"Let me guess. This detour includes Wyoming doesn't it?" He crossed his arms and sighed.
