"You just explained my entire life. The one time I do come to you people for help, I get questioned if I really am even his fucking daughter. I come to you for help and I get questioned, manipulated into revealing my darkest fucking secret and you're gonna stand there and act like the better man? You're no better then Leiger himself." I spat at David before running into the building.

"Rose wait!" Damon called running after me again.

"Just tell me where the stairs are so I can get out of here please." I turned away so he couldn't see the tears on my face.

"I'll show you the way out, but I want to tell you what I originally wanted to say in the first place. Can you let me do that please?" He placed his hand on my shoulder.

"Fine.. I'm done talking though." I sighed and wiped my face.

"I want to say I'm sorry for that lot in there. We weren't trying to manipulate you for your darkest secret or anything." He guided me to the stair way.

"Yeah, totally seemed like it." I scoffed as I stepped on the first step.

"We weren't. You asked us our powers and our weaknesses and then you shared yours, then.. yes they did kind of pressure you into admitting the only thing that has helped you control your powers but they meant no harm. We just want to help. If you can control your powers then that'd be better for you."

"Are you gonna say what you originally wanted to say or is your attention span the same length of that as a puppy in a dog park?" I rolled my eyes.

"Sassy, got it. I'm liking you more by the minute." He chuckled as we descended the stairs.

"So?"

"Right, Jays... he's always been the type of man to wear his heart on his sleeve for the people he has closest to him and you and David are the closest that you can get. I just think you should at least sit down and have lunch with him before you decide yay or nay for his help. I know you said Alyssa was the only one who could-" I froze as he said her name. He stopped and looked at me. "What?"

"Don't say her name... please." I shook my head and walked ahead.

"Alright, sorry. I know you said that she was the only one who could help you keep your powers in check because she could manipulate your emotions but maybe there was something else that could help you? If your powers are based on your emotions then maybe there's something we can do to help you. Is there anything else that seemed to help you before?" He chased me down the long stair well making me hear his voice echoing in my ears.

"Actually..." I stopped. "No.. that's impossible too." I shook my head again and continued to walk down the seemingly endless stairs.

"What is it? Maybe we can figure something out similar?"

"When we were in those cells, my mom used to sing me lullabies to help me relax, to try to make me not so scared, when I first got these powers, it was the only thing that could calm me down enough to stop everything in my cell from shaking or burning.. but she died a long time ago too. Like I said, nothing can really help me now, I figured maybe since I had some good memories with Dean and David, I'd be able to look past what he may as well have done and I'd be able to control my anger but I just... can't" I sighed as I saw the end of the stairs fast approaching.

"Maybe Dean has some recordings of your moms voice and he can put something together for you to listen to? Anything might help at this point right? You have to at least ask him." He opened the door as we reached the bottom floor.

"I don't know.. I don't want to let anyone in again.. Every time I do.."

"Someone dies?" He asked as I stopped to look at him in the lobby.
