"Anna! Hurry up!" My mom called from upstairs.
"I'm almost ready I'll be up soon!" I called back up as I finished applying my chapstick.
"The bus is here! You'll be late for work!" She yelled again.
"I'm coming!" I grabbed my bag as I rushed up the stairs and out the front door. "Love you!" I called out before hopping on the bus.
"Good morning Anna." Ben the bus driver said.
"Morning Benny. How are you?" I sat in the seat right behind him.
"Been a pretty eventful morning. Even got to drive through construction." He joked.
"I still don't see why you're a bus driver. We're hiring. You could come work with me."
"And fix up houses for strangers? I'm good. I don't have a very keen eye with that kind of stuff."
"You don't have to. You just have to help me move the furniture." I smirked at him as he turned onto the highway.
"We'll see. I have finish my route before I think of quitting."
"On second thought, if you quit I'd actually have to run to the bus stop."
"Then it's settled. I'm home here in this seat." He laughed at me.
"Well if you need me I'll be jamming out to some eighties rock." I pulled out my headphones from my bag.
"Don't forget about your meeting today scatterbrain."
"Oh yeah. I'll also be going over those cards." I laughed nervously as I pulled out the cards.
I examined each card closely, I was up for a promotion but not if I couldn't remember these stupid flash cards. Each card told me about sales and all the profit information that I needed to know if I wanted to start selling houses instead of decorating them.
"Anna, this is your stop." I barely heard Benny. I fumbled placing the cards back in my bag and got off the bus waving goodbye to Benny as he drove away. I ran in the building and just barely made it on the elevator.
"Your name is Anna right?" The guy on the elevator asked.
"Yes, I'm sorry I've never seen you before." I smiled at him as I waited for the twenty fourth floor.
"Call me Paul. It's a pleasure to meet you." He extended his hand for me to shake.
"Pleasure is all mine." I fumbled with my phone and headphone trying to toss them in one hand trying to shake his hand with a free one.
"You seem to have a lot of issues with your headphones don't you?" He laughed after he took his hand back.
"While it may be true that I'm not organized with my bag or headphones. No one can decorate a house quite like me." I smiled throwing my stuff in my bag.
"Oh so you're the Great Designer Anna?"
"That's been a very generous nick-name but yes. I am." I scratched the back of my neck and smiled.
"Well I guess I'll be seeing you around." He said as the elevator dinged on the tewnty second floor. "Thank you for being kind with me."
"Thank you for talking to me. I'm a social disaster." I smirked as I watched the doors close.

"I can't believe how badly that turned out!" I cried in my boss' office.
"It wasn't that bad. I'm sure the chairman liked your.. uhm.. I'm sure he liked.."
