Gone- Part 5

"Dammit Sa- Rose.." David bit his tongue as she threw a cracker at him.

"Don't treat me like a child and I won't act like one." She snickered grabbing another getting ready to throw it at him.

"She's exactly like Jays." I couldn't help but chuckle talking to Natalie.

"You're telling me.. How do you know we can trust her though?"

"I can feel it. You remember when no one wanted to trust you? Considering you were working for Leiger and you decided to double cross them? If it wasn't for my gut then no one here would have ever trusted you." I smirked walking out to the balcony.

"If it wasn't for me showing you all those files, you wouldn't have trusted me either." She chuckled following me.

"Well, either way, you need to trust her because she wants the same thing all of us does."

"Chicken fried pasta?" Jarrod walked out with a sandwich in his hands.

"Uhm... No, but that does sound oddly good? I meant, taking leiger out."

"Who doesn't want them taken out? Other then their own agents.." He sat down and took a bite out of his sandwich.

"Anybody who doesn't want to get involved as well. If you make yourself an enemy of Leiger, you better have some money to hire people to protect you or hide.. or, if you have abilities, fight with us. Only those three options are what we got." Natalie chuckled as she leaned against the railing.

"Are they done yet?" Jay walked out rubbing his arm.

"Not that I know of. Least your children are getting along." Jarrod said the second he swallowed his mouthful.

"I'm.. She made a scene here when she knew people were looking for her. I know Leiger sends spies everywhere, especially to my parties.. I never thought she'd be that stupid to do something like that."

"She's always done stuff like that if she's anything like you." Natalie smirked.

"Don't even start with me Calvin." He rolled his eyes and looked back inside, Rose had a smirk on her face and David looked irritated as usual.

"Calm down Jay. If they try to attack, we already know the drills. I'll get Rose somewhere safe adn we'll take care of the rest of the mess. Just try to breathe and stop acting... what's the word I'm searching for.."

"Like an overprotective father?" Jarrod asked as he finished his food.

"Anxiously stupid? Completely unlike himself."

"Alright, I get the point. I can't help it when I know what her powers are, if she sees David get hurt, I don't know how she'd handle it and who knows what might happen if she loses control of her emotions." He started pacing back and forth.

"That's exactly why she'd distanced herself from anyone and everything. She's scared of the exact same thing so you know she's not going to let herself get to that point." I sighed.

"Guys!" Anthony came running out worried.

"What is it bug boy?"

"Stop calling me bug boy! My names- nevermind, Leiger has a new agent heading this way and she's destroying everything in her path. She's made four buildings collapse already, she causes explosions with her hair somehow." He was speaking faster then I could understand.

"She's heading here? Does David know?" Jay asked pulling out his phone.

"I didn't get to tell him yet, I figured I should tell you first since you were already out here." He grabbed his chest trying to catch his breath.
