Chapter 2

Jay's POV
We pulled up to a giant mansion. I couldn't help but gawk. It had a black Mustang, black Mercedes, and a blue BMW parked in the circular driveway in front of the house. I couldn't help but stare in awe. We got out and Stina led me over to the black Mercedes.

"This yours," she said smiling and handing me keys.
"OMFG I LOVE YOU SO MUCH STINA," I said jumping on her.
I got my bags and ran inside the house. I gave myself a tour and found that there was a pool,tennis court, movie theater, huge kitchen, 4 bedrooms and one belonged to me. It was the one at the end of the hall.

It had a balcony that looked over to the pool and tennis court. I had a queen sized bed, desk, walk in closet, 40 inch Tv, my own bathroom and to top it off the whole room was decorated in purple and blue. I looked around and smiled. It felt like home.

*the next day*

I had finished unpacking yesterday and Stina had shown me around the Bay a lil bit. May I say In-n-Out and Quickly's are bae already. Anyways I woke up and decided to go shoot some hoops. Basketball has always been an escape for me. I got up and showered. I put on a black nike sports bra, black and red basketball shorts and my bred 11's. I threw my hair up in a ponytail and grabbed my gym bag that had a basketball, a gaterade, towel, and a Nike hoodie. I wrote a note telling Stina where I went and I got in my new car. I put the sunroof down and I blasted Focused on You by Eric Bellinger.

I arrived at the courts and saw the same lightskin from the airport. I hopped out my car and walked towards the court. There were four guys. There was the lightskin, a short boy with a poof, an older version of him and a boy with a camera . The lightskin and the older boy with the poof were playing one on one but it was obvious the lightskin could play and the other couldn't. The younger version of the boy with the poof was doing tricks on his skateboard around the court and the boy with the camera was taking pictures of him. I arrived at the court and they stopped their game and looked at me.

"Dam," I heard someone say.
"Um can I join," I said.
"Haha sure like you can beat the master," the lightskin said cockly.
"I'm Myles by the way," said the older poof boy.
"That's my younger brother Jake and this is my best friend Kalin," he said pointing the younger poof boy then the lightskin.
"I'm Jada but you can call me Jay," I said

So the lightskin was Kalin. Dam he was hot but why is he so dam cocky. I turned back to Kalin.
"You really think you can beat me," I taunted.
"Duh. I'm perfect everywhere but in here," he said pointing to his heart.

I was confused at why he pointed to his heart but I shrugged it off. I put my bag and keys down by the fence and I walked back to the court. I began to stretch at the three point line when Kalin suddenly passed me the ball.
"Shoot it," he commanded.
I grabbed the ball and it went into the hoop with a SWISH. Myles and Jake began to taunt Kalin while he stood there shocked.
"Check up," I said with a smile.

*2 hours later*
Kalin's POV
"I still can't believe you beat Kalin in basketball. I've only seen him get beat in a basketball video game but not on the court," Myles said in awe.
"They don't call me female Kobe for nothing," she said smirking.

I rolled my eyes and turned back to my phone. We were sitting at a picnic table in the park nearby. I had to admit she was good on the court and she was stunning but there was something else about her that I couldn't put my finger on. Plus I had a girlfriend named Emily anyway.

"Kalin," I heard Myles say.
"What,"
"Who are you texting that made you zone out of our conversation,"
"Oh my girlfriend Emily," I said looking at Jay.
Her smile faded for a minute but she quickly recovered it. Did she like me? I shook the thought away and focused back on the conversation.

"So there's a party tonight at our place. You should come," said Jake
"K can I bring a friend," she asked.
"If they're as bad as you than sure," Cam said winking and she began to turn red like a tomato.

I don't know why but this got me mad. I glared at Cam and he stared at me confused. I got up from the table and stormed off. I don't know what's gotten into me. I just met this girl and I have a girlfriend yet I can't stand the site of someone flirting with her.
