Chapter 18

Jay's POV
I woke up to be blinded by sunlight. I tried to get up to close them but I couldn't. I was stuck in Kalin's grip. I tried to move his hands without waking him up but that was a fail.
"Babe don't go," he grunted pulling me closer.
I turned over and snuggled closer to his chest. I could really get used to this.

"JAKE STOP! MYLES HELP!"
I sat up in my bed and rubbed my eyes. The yelling continued but was louder this time. I looked over to my side and saw that Kalin was gone. I immidiatley knew what was happening. I ran out the bed and into the living room. There was Myles holding Jake back while Kalin was doubled over coughing up blood.

"Kalin are you okay," I said helping him up.
He nodded his head. I helped him back to the room and cleaned him up. I left him there to rest and I put on my bathing suit and went to the pool. I sat in the jacuzzi and sighed. If only we could go one day without drama and someone getting hurt.

<later that day>
"Jay focus we have to perfect this stunt. We are performing in less than 3 hours and we have yet to nail it once," Kalin said.
"Sorry. Let's do it again," I said getting onto his shoulders.
I jumped up unable to fully rotate my body in the flip. He caught me and set me down.
"Jay talk to me. What's on your mind,"
"Jake. I feel like I need to talk to him because him beating you up is not okay," I said frustrated.

I grabbed my bag and put on my shoes. "I'm going to go talk to Jake. I can't do this stunt with all this pressure so we'll just do the safety stunt instead. I'll run across the stage and do a cartwheel into a split," I said walking out the door.

Jake's POV
I drank the last bit of Vodka in the bottle and set it on the floor. That was my 2nd bottle and I was beginning to feel a buzz.
"Jake are you in there," I heard someone say
In walked the love of my life, Jay. I felt as if the buzz I had felt before had disappeared when she walked in.
"Jay," I croaked.
"Jake what the hell? Why are you drinking now this is so not like you," she screamed.
"I've been drinking ever since you left me."
"Jake you and I know darn well I left you because you cheated on me,"
"NO YOU FUCKING LEFT ME FOR THAT MANWHORE KALIN," I yelled pinning her against the wall.
I could hear her breath quicken as I got closer to her lips. She pushed me off her before I could kiss her.
"Jake get this in your head. I'm over you and I've moved on. I suggest you do too. You broke my heart when I saw you kiss that girl and I can never let go of that. So the most we can ever be is friends," she said and it finally hit me.

She was no longer mine.

Kalin's POV
"Kalin where are they," Myles yelled for the 100th time.
"We're here sorry for being late. We had to talk," Jay said running up with Jake behind her.
"Next up....THE WARRIORS," the announcer yelled.
The team walked onto the stage but I pulled Jay back.

"How did things go with Jake," I said.
"Okay. I think I got my point across."
"Which was?"
"That I'm not longer his."
"So your mine," I said pulling her close.
"Earn it," she whispered in my ear and ran on stage.
I needed to call her mine soon.
