Chapter 28

Jay's POV
I woke up to the smell of eggs and bacon. I followed the scent into the kitchen. There stood the tall lightskin boy that I was madly in love with, cooking breakfast. I crept up behind him and whispered a "boo" in his ear. He jumped and the grease from the bacon popped onto his naked torso.

He hopped around the kitchen lie a kangaroo trying to whip the grease off and stop the burning. I stood in the corner hunched over in laughter.

"You think this is funny huh," he questioned after finally getting the grease off.
I nodded and he ran in my direction. I squealed in shock as he threw me over his shoulder and into our room. He put me down and hovered over me, his arms on both sides preventing my escape.

"Say your sorry," he persisted but I shook my head no.
"Fine you leave me with no choice but to bring out the TICKLE MONSTER," he yelled as he attacked my stomach and sides with his fingers.

I squirmed around trying to get away from his tickling hands but I was stuck.

"Fine, fine, I'm sorry," I said laughing.
"Now say Kalin is a sexy beast."
I shot him a 'really nigga' look and he laughed. He stood up and pulled me up off the bed. He went over to his backpack, pulled out a wad of cash and handed it to me.

"Go shopping with Anasteezya and Yezii for an outfit for our date. Be ready by 2," he said kissing my forehead.

I threw on some jeans and a shirt with some vans. I met up with girls seeing that they were already ready. We got on the train and went to the mall.

* 2 hours later*
Kalin's POV
I buttoned up the last button on my shirt and fixed my collar. I knocked on Jay and I's door and she quickly opened. I smirked to myself realizing that we were both matching and soon she realized it too (outfits above). We both started laughing. She grabbed her phone and I interlocked our fingers.

We walked out the hotel and down to the water.
"What are we doing over here," she questioned.

He question was soon answered when a helicopter landed in front of us causing her to jump in my arms. It was too loud for me to hear what she said so I motioned for her to follow me into the chopper.

"Good Afternoon Mr. And Mrs. White, strap yourselves in and put on the headphones so you can hear one another talk," the pilot said.

We did as he said and we soon were off. The chopper toured the city from above. Even though Jay had grown up and lived here for a while, she still was in awe at the view. I myself was as well, I never knew New York was this beautiful from above.

The helicopter slowed down and landed on an island. I hopped out and helped Jay get out. I grabbed the picnic basket from the back and led her to our destination.

Jay's POV
Kalin has honestly gone all out today. The helicopter tour was amazing and now we are on Roosevelt Island walking in the direction of one of my favorite parks as a kid.
"How did you know," I said looking at Kalin.

I smiled and pulled him down to the grass. He spread out the blanket and laid down. I took the contents of the basket out. There we had Shake Shack burgers, fries and shakes( Shake Shack is like the east coast version of In-N-Out) We are our food and stared at the sky.

"Do you ever wish you could've gone back in time and do something over," he asked.
"Yea I wish I could re eat this sandwich it was the bomb," I said laughing

I looked over at him and saw that he was serious.
"I wish I had never wasted my time on other girls when I had the perfect one right in front of me," he said staring into my eyes.

He sat up and went inside the picnic basket. He pulled out a long box that I don't know how I missed when I took the food out.

"Jada from the moment I saw you something about you captivated me. I wanted you to be mine but I didn't know how to. I was so caught up in the "fucking bitches, getting money" lifestyle that I was too blind to see I had the perfect girl in front of me. Your not like the other girls in the past that I only used them for sex. I know I've hurt you in the past but that's the old Kalin. I'm changing for you and I'm sure as hell falling for you too. I'm so in love with you it scares me but I can't fucking stand being friends with you any longer. So would you please be my girlfriend," he asked opening the box

Inside the box was a bracelet. I studied it closely and saw that it read:
I love you more than you will ever know~Kalin

Tears began to spill out of my eyes, thank god I wore waterproof mascara, as I looked up at Kalin. He look nervous but then I realized I didn't answer his question. I was so choked up, I couldn't reply. So I answered him another way. With a kiss.

This kiss was different from the other kisses we had shared before. It was filled with passion, love and happiness. I felt him smile through the kiss which made me smile as well. We pulled away and out foreheads were connected.

"If that didn't answer your question, yes I would love to be your girlfriend Kalin."

He smiled and picked me up onto his back. He ran around the park as I erupted in giggles. We saw a photographer with a Polaroid so Kalin ran over there. he handed him a $20.

The first picture I was on his back and he was smiling at the camera while I was kissing his cheek. Then he put me down and we both put up hyphy hands as the flash went off. He turned me around so we were both facing each other. We were both staring deeply into each other's eyes and smiling when the third flash went off. We both leaned in and the flash went off for the last picture.

We thanked the photographer and gathered our Polaroid pictures. I pulled out a sharpie and wrote on the bottom
