Last Cry

(Scarlet's POV)

I was quiet the whole time I was hugging Zayn. Only his sobs are the noise you'll hear inside the room.

It's been minutes when I felt Zayn calming down.

"Scarlet." - he called me out.

"What's the matter?"

"Naaalala mo pa yung unang araw tayong nagkita?"

After he asked me, I suddenly remembered the day we first met. It wasn't sweet at all. I smiled.

Who could have thought that I'll learn to love him?

"Yeah. I remember."

"Sinabi ko noon na gagawin mo ang kung ano mang gusto ko ng hindi man lang nagrereklamo at maghihiwalay lang tayo kung kailan ko gustuhin."

I suddenly felt nervous.

Please say the opposite of what I'm thinking.

"Y-yeah. I remember."

"Diba gusto mong mawala na ko sa buhay mo noon? My existence was enough to ruin your day."

"Yeah. But... W-why are we reminiscing anyway? That is past. Let's forget abo---"

"Let's break up, Scarlet."

After hearing those words, my hands that was holding his back fell to my side.

I lost the strength I have, the courage, the confidence. I lost everything.

I felt my whole body weaken then I felt Zayn's hug tighten.

I want to talk but I can't. F*ck!

I want to ask him why. I want him to say that it's just one of his sick jokes.

"Scarlet, ayoko na."

Another stabbing feeling stroke me. What the f*ck is going on?!

"I'm tired of following you around. I'm tired of trying to be the guy for you. And.."

He held both of my shoulders and pushed me gently away from our hug. I looked straight at him and I saw no emotions at all. While in my case, you'll obviously see the confusion and the pain in my face.

My tears kept on flowing and I didn't bothered wiping them. I'm waiting for what Zayn have to say.
