"Good afternoon, Ms. MacKenzie," the engineer greeted me. I am now at the site where my future restaurant will be showing off. It's almost done, I guess.

"How was the construction?"

"Well, everything is going according to the plan."

"How about the changes I asked you?"

"We're already on it."

"Good. So, when will I be seeing this Restaurant done?"

"It'll surely be finished after two weeks."

"That's good news. You may now go."

He smiled at me first before leaving.

I faced my secretary.

"Update the interior designer that he'll be working two weeks from now."

"I already talked to him, miss. Nanggaling na daw po sya dito kahapon at may nakahanda na daw po syang design para sa loob at labas ng restaurant. Naipadala na daw po nya sa inyo yung draft."

"I see. I'll check it later. For now, tell the driver to prepare the car."

She nodded and called the driver through the phone. I saw her nodding and then ended the call.

"Okay na po, miss."

Without hesitation, I walked towards the front door and the car is already there when I stepped outside. I was about to ride the car when I caught a very familiar silhouette just across the road.

He has his back turned on me so I really can't see his face. But it really looks so d*mn familiar.

His arms are well-built. He's physically fit with shoulders that are broad, by the way. He's well-tanned and his chestnut colored hair is in a dishevelled style.

I once again scrutinized him. This time, from his shoes way up to his head.

He's wearing a leather shoes and a maroon colored fitted jeans, which is darker in color.

He's wearing a cardigan, showing off his well-fitted body and his perfectly broad shoulders. Underneath that cardigan is a white collared shirt. Both the cardigan and the white shirt's sleeves are folded half of his forearm, showing his silver watch.
