"Ma'am." - my secretary called out as she enters my office.

"Yes?"

"The conference room is now ready for the meeting. It's all set up."

"And the board members?"

"They are all complete and waiting for you."

"Okay. Tell them I'll be there in a minute."

"Okay po."

And then my secretary left my office. Next door lang naman ang conference room eh. And I have my own door here in my office. Para hindi na ako mahirapan. Well, what can I say? I just love the interior of the whole company. Dad and mom sure are the best in it.

Tumayo na ako at papunta na sa pinto ng conference room ng maramdaman ko ang pag vibrate ng phone ko.

I didn't check the caller ID and just answer it while my other hand is in the doorknob.

"Who's this?"

["Babe naman. Syempre ako. Sino pa ba ang annoying alien jan sa phone mo. Ako lang naman."]

I checked my phone and it really was him.

"What is it? I need to attend a meeting, you know?"

["Meeting? Diba mamaya pang 1pm meeting mo?"]

"How did you---"

["Edi sa secretary mo. Don't mind that. Bakit ka may meeting ngayon?"]

"Emergency meeting."

["Aww. Wawa naman babe ko. Bakit?"]

"Missing files ang shortage of budget for the new project." - I explained. "So I'll just call you back after the meeting. By---"

["Sandali!"]

Nailayo ko naman ang phone ko mula sa tenga ko. Grabe naman kasi kung makasigaw tong lalaking to eh!

"What the hell?! What's your probl---"

["I *muah* Love *muah* You *muah*. Good luck, babe!"]

Sa totoo lang, natigilan ako sa ginawa nya. That's the first time that someone really cheered me up, beside Manang Rosa. Everybody wants to see me fail because they all believe that I just succeeded because of my name and fame when the truth is I've gone through a lot before I get to this position.

It's hard to study in school and study business at home. I'm too young for this kind of matter. But still, I worked hard for the sake of our company.

["Sige na, babe. They're waiting for you. Ikaw na ang magbaba."]

"Okay." - nag-aalanganin kong sagot.

Ieend call ko na sana pero hindi ko ginawa. Sa halip ay tiningnan ko kung connected pa kami at connected pa naman.

"Zayn? Are you still there?"

["Oo, babe. Bakit?"] - mabilis nyang sagot.

"Thanks." - I immediately said then ended the call. Okay. Now, that was embarassing. Why the hell did I thank him?! Urgh. Nahahawa na ako sa kawirduhan nya.

Iiling iling akong pumasok sa loob ng conference room.

But well...

Ginanahan ako sa ginawa ni Zayn. He really is something.

Pagpasok ko sa conference room ay tumayo silang lahat at binati ako.
