"Scarlet, tapos na ba talaga tayo?"

I was taken aback with his question. I just don't know what to say.

But one thing is for sure.

Nasasaktan akong makita siyang ganito kahit alam kong ako ang may kasalanan. At the same time, I'm feeling.. contented seing him hurt. I know. Ang sama ko.

"Are you stupid? Matagal na tayong tapos. Oh wait," Nagkunwari akong nag iisip. "Nagkaroon ba talaga ng tayo? It was just a bet, right? Come on, Zayn. Move on."

"Alam mo ba kung gaano kasakit marinig yan sayo?"

"That was the objective, Zayn. I want you to get hurt. Wala pa yan sa naramdaman ko noong saktan, iwan at ipagpalit mo ko sa pinsan ko." I pushed him out of my way. "Excuse me. Lucas was left outside."

I was about to walk away when I heard a sound of lighting. A very loud one. I stiffened.

Not because of the lighting but because I felt two manly arms hugged me from behind.

"Scarlet, mahal na mahal pa din kita."

Hindi ako natuwa. Hindi din kinilig.

Nasaktan at nagalit ako. Pero nangibabaw ang galit.

Agad kong tinanggal ang pagkakayakap sakin ni Zayn at hinarap siya. As I faced him, I slapped him in the face really hard. So hard that I even got hurt with what I did.

"Mahal? Mahal?! Wag mo nga akong gawing tanga!" I grilled and tears escaped my eyes. "Sinaktan mo ko, Zayn! Iniwan! Pinagpalit! You destroyed me! I was literally lifeless when you f*cking left me! Tapos ngayon sasabihin mo sakin, mahal mo ko?! What the hell, Zayn?!"

"I did that because I love you so much!"

"That's bullshit! Ganyan na ba pag nagmamahal ngayon?! Kung ganyan ka lang din naman magmahal, then no, thanks!"

"I did that for your own good. Nagsakripisyo ako para sa'yo," he said. His voice cracked.

"Sacrifice? Don't make me laugh." I smirked with disbelief. I can't believe what he's saying! Sacrifice?! Like what the freaking hell?! Sinaktan ako. Iniwan. Pinagpalit ako. And worse, sa pinsan ko pa! And to make it even worst, that cousin happens to be someone I treated as a sister! Like she's my parent's flesh and blood!

"Kailangan kong pumunta sa America, Scarlet. And I needed to stay there."

"You should've just told me!"

"Tapos ano?"

"Sumama sana ako sayo!"

"See? Kaya hindi ko sinabi. I know you're going to say that! Katulad na lang nung---" he trailed off. He took a deep breath and looked the other way.

"Katulad nung ano?" I asked him.

"Ang gusto ko lang iparating..."

"Katulad nung mga bata pa tayo?"

Binaling niya ang tingin niya sakin. Kita sa mukha niya ang pagkagulat. So he didn't know that I remember everything from the past? I thought he's still talking to my grandmother? Didn't she told him?

"Paano mo..."

"I've undergone a treatment when you left me, Zayn. Lucas told me about everything." I paused for a while then continued. "Alam mo kung ano yung masakit, Zayn? You made a fool out of me and when I was fooled enough to love you back, that's when you left me. Do you really think I can forgive you? I even saw you talking to my grandmother earlier."
