Some could call this part two to Just a Friendly Dinner in book 1...

Wooyoung lay his head on the table, daydreaming or thinking or something like that. He wasn't sure what to call what he was feeling. They were just thoughts. They flooded to his brain at the most unexpected moments and stuck with him for a long time.

"Woo?"

Wooyoung didn't answer. His mind was too busy.

"Wooyoung!" San shook his shoulder.

"Yeah?" Wooyoung looked alarmed. His lovers looked at him, concerned.

"We're asking if you're going to eat your food. Otherwise, we can hear it up later," Seonghwa calmly explained.

"Oh... Right." Wooyoung started eating again. The group's conversation continued.

At just a small pause, Wooyoung lifts his head to speak. "I have a question."

"Hm?" The members all turned to his small voice.

"Would any of you mind if I invited the other Wooyoung to our house?"

Everyone else shared looks. "Why?" Hongjoong asked.

"I just... I want to see him again."

"They haven't spoken to us ever since that night, Woo. Why are they coming now? To ask for our help? To use us?" San accused.

"No!"

"San." Hongjoong shook his head before turning back to Wooyoung. "Just tell me."

"He only wants to talk to me, Hongjoong. We want to get to know each other better. If I could, I would beg you guys to know the others too."

He noticed how silent the boys fell. They gazed at their laps or pursed their lips.

"Well... I can't promise you I'll do it immediately, but I'll try," Hongjoong said. The others subsequently agreed. "Sure, Wooyoung. You can invite him over."

A smile grew upon Wooyoung's face. He ran to Hongjoong and embraced him. "Thank you! You're the best, Hongjoong!"

It was on a cold night that the doorbell rang in the ATEEZ household. Wooyoung ran down the stairs with a smile on his face. As he threw open the door, he screamed.

Everyone in the household's hearts stopped. However, they soon saw Wooyoung embracing his alter ego while laughing, so they calmed down.

"Wooyoung!"

Dark Wooyoung laughed. "Also Wooyoung!"

Yeosang sniffed in disgust. "Is it bad to say the dark version is somehow worse than the original?" he asked Yunho. The older only laughed.

"I'd say he's pretty cute," San added.

"Yeah. He gave it to you pretty good six months ago, huh— Ow!" Yeosang rubbed the area Seonghwa pinched him at.

"Come on. I have things to show you." Wooyoung took his counterpart's hand and led him up the stairs to his room.

"Well? What do we do now?"

Mingi and Jongho shared a look. Then they ran up the stairs.

"What are they doing?" Yunho asked.

Hongjoong rolled his eyes. "Probably spying on them through the little hole behind a frame."

"Oh. Wait—"

San was already jogging up the stairs.

Somehow, in some way, the rest of them entered Jongho and Mingi's room despite the protests from the pair to not enter and ruin everything. Now you had seven boys crowding around a tiny hole that would barely provide enough for at least one to see through.
