Everyone knew the alpha of KQ High: Song Mingi.

Omegas swooned after the male, following his attractive features, falling for his deep voice, and complimenting his kind personality. He pushed his achievements even further to class president and was an athletic yet an artistically talented student.

The only flaw anyone in the school found with him was his inability to acknowledge all omegas who offered themselves to him.

That would soon change.

Mingi greeted his friend group as usual upon arriving at school. The group of four tended to gather at his locker, but as they were often told to move, they'd relocate to one of the empty classrooms.

"Another day Mingi hasn't found himself an omega," San teased. "To be him..."

"Oh? So Wooyoung isn't working out?" Yeosang grinned.

"We're still hooking up... I just want the popularity Mingi has."

The oldest yet calmest of the four was Seonghwa, who crossed his arms. "That's all you alphas care about now, huh?"

San rolled his eyes. "You're mad because you're old."

"Old-fashioned," Yeosang agreed. The two laughed.

Mingi cracked a smile but merely shrugged. "I just haven't found anyone. Sure they're all pretty and handsome, but no one's... stood out?"

The three looked at him with sympathy.

"We get it. Maybe it's not your time yet."

Mingi huffed. "I wish my parents got that," he mumbled.

Mingi's parents were eager to have their son find an omega. With the reputation he had, he would no doubt be a contender for the head alpha of the town. And what an honor for them it would be.

As Seonghwa felt Mingi lean onto his shoulder for head pats, they heard several students walking by the classroom in a hurry.

"Come on!"

"Shit, is he that handsome?"

"Yeah... and he's so hot."

"Hotter than Mingi?"

"Shh!"

Mingi whipped around at the sound of his name. He was curious to see where these omegas were going. Who were they talking about?

"Could it be the transfers?" Yeosang asked.

Mingi raised an eyebrow. "Transfers?"

"Yeah... Horizon Academy. Some students were coming."

Mingi didn't reply. San and Seonghwa shared a glance at his thoughtful expression. Then he watched his nose twitch.

"Sorry, I should go to class. Bye, guys." Mingi threw his bag across his chest and swiftly left the room.

"What was that about?" the three asked each other.

After the first class, Mingi had hallway duty. His intimidating steps would scare any alpha or omega back to class or hide. But his talented smell was too good for them. He would find stray students in an instant.

This is what led him towards the gym doors, then stopped.

An alluring scent of peaches.

Mingi tried to fight it off. The scent danced around his nostrils, teasing and taunting his senses.
