"What happened that day?" Con asks. He drives with Eddie to Autumn and Marty's for a Halloween party. Savannah is working. Eddie's car is in the shop. "No one has heard from Sabrina since...What happened after she shot me?"
Eddie doesn't answer.
"Really?" Con asks. "You won't tell me? It's me. I thought we were good."
"We are," Eddie confirms. "You saved my life and I can never fully thank you for that."
"You don't have to," Con says. "I would've done it for any of you. Please? I won't tell anyone else."
"You were bleeding," Eddie begins, looking ashamed. "My fangs popped out. I..."
"Dude, am I a vampire now?" Con asks, excitedly.
"What? No," Eddie answers. Con frowns and focuses on the road. "I bit Sabrina."
"You turned her into a vampire or..." Eddie looks out the window. "You killed her."
"I thought she killed you," Eddie says.
The song "Semi-Charmed Life" plays.
"Remember when this song came out?" Con asks. "It was the summer after freshman year of college. We were just driving around." He sings along. "Come on. I know you want to."
Eddie joins in.
"What did you do with the body?" Con asks.
"Some werewolves took care of it," Eddie answers.
"I won't tell anyone," Con says.
"I didn't think I could ever be that angry," Eddie says. "It scared me. I felt like a monster."
"You're not," Con says. "You're just a great friend." Eddie sadly smiles. "The best friend."
