"I'm not surprised," Marty says. "My brother has been cleaning up Con's messes our whole lives. Do you think Con will take a chance?"

"He shouldn't," Autumn says.

"There was a magic attack in Washington Square Park!" the TV announces. "That's right. New York City. Two dead. Several injured."

They look at each other.

Con stands in uniform, blocking off the scene. Autumn and Marty approach him.

"What happened?" Autumn asks.

"Exactly what you heard," Con answers. "Humans are pissed. They want us dead."

"Where's Carter?" Marty asks.

"At the hospital," Con answers. "Tori..."

"Which hospital?" Autumn asks.

"New York Presbyterian," Con answers. "I'd walk. Don't use magic."

"I'm not stupid," Autumn says. They run towards the nearest subway station.

Eddie approaches the scene.

"You just missed Autumn and Marty," Con says.

"You're not going to do anything, are you?" Eddie asks.

"I'm just standing here, securing the scene," Con says. "Tori's in the hospital. It doesn't look good."

"Has the Secretary of Magic made a statement?" Eddie asks.

"Not yet," Con answers. "Be careful."

"I'll be fine," Eddie says. "But all this blood is...I'm going to find a burger joint." Con nods.
