Con returns home from the precinct and finds Kyle, lying on the couch, watching sports with a can of Coke.

"Do you have homework?" he asks.

"I'll do it later," Kyle tells him.

"How are your college applications coming along?" Con asks.

"They'll get done," Kyle assures his father.

Con turns off the TV.

"Hey!" Kyle exclaims.

"I get it," he says. "I'm usually the fun parent, but Amber's not here, so I have to be the rules parent too. I'm a cop. I can do it."

"Eddie is also a rules parent, but his train doesn't get in until a quarter to seven," Kyle points out.

"You think you can get away with things?" Con asks. "Fine. Do your homework. Then watch TV."

"Dad!" he whines.

"Now!" he shouts. Kyle rolls his eyes and grabs his backpack from the door. Con smiles.

"This parenting thing is easy," he says to himself.

"Really Carter," she says. "My father and sister are on the loose and all you can think about is sex." She pauses and thinks about it for a moment. She smiles. "Later." He smiles. "At home." He frowns.

"Have you found anything?" Carter asks.

"I wish," Amber says.

"We could always use Con to track his scent," Carter says.

"Really?" Amber asks.

"But I don't want him to end up alone anywhere near William or Lila," Carter says. "Someone will have to go with him."
