"Look at this." Autumn shows her husband their electric bill from NYSEG.

"That can't be right," Marty says. "Under a hundred dollars? Can it really be that cheap here? ConEd charged two hundred a month."

"Six or seven hundred in the winter," Autumn points out. "And our bill didn't change even when we had to turn off everything during a possible Anti-Magic attack. We made the right choice, but I miss everyone."

"Me, too," Marty says. He puts his arm around Autumn's shoulders. "We could stop by the Amethyst Café."

"No," Autumn says. "We'll have them here. Another barbecue before the school year starts."

"I thought the only things cops did in this town were take care of drunk driving accidents and help kids cross the street," Con says. "I didn't realize how much domestic violence there is."

"It doesn't help that certain magical creatures are more violent than others," Carter says.

"What?" Con asks.

"You need to keep William and Sabrina Jones out of this town," Carter states.

"Duh," Con says. "What I really need is a witch or warlock to secure the shield."

"It's secure," Carter assures him.

"How do I know for sure?" Con asks.

"Don't you trust me?" Carter asks.

"I want to speak to Isabella," Con says.

"She's in the nursing home," Carter tells him. "You can't disturb her."

"She is the oldest citizen in town and the best witch," Con points out. "She has out-of-print spell books. You should go talk to her. She can tell us what to do."

"It's not that simple," Carter says.

"It is," Con argues. "You've been so weird ever since you and Amber broke up. At least Eddie is just mopey after a break-up. You...I don't even know."

"How is it living alone?" Carter asks.

"Boring," Con replies. "Why don't you move in? I have a second bedroom."

"That's not a bad idea," Carter says. "I hate to admit it, but I've been lonely too. Do you think you and Eddie can fix things?"

"He won't listen to me," Con says. "He thinks I did something with Sabrina, but she did have that bracelet on and like I said, all we did was talk."

"I believe you," Carter says.

"Does that mean I never had real feelings for Amber?" Con asks.

"I looked into it," Carter says. "The effects only last a year, so you probably did have real feelings toward her." Con nods. "You know what? Let's talk to Isabella."
