Eddie had dated a total of four people.
First there was Amber senior year of high school.
Then Dylan in college, Penelope in dental school.
Finally, Roger from 2004-06.
Human. Vampire. Human. Warlock/Human.
Amber was a cheerleader and school president.
Eddie was in mathletes and science decathlon.
Con was the quarterback.
Amber and Con made more sense, but she chose Eddie.
Until she left.
He and Dylan clicked from the moment they met.
But in the end, Dylan could not date someone half-human.
Penelope never knew he was half-vampire.
Con hated her.
He thought Roger would get it.
Half-warlock. Half-human.
Roger thought the half-warlock part made him superior to Eddie and he dumped him.
Eddie proposed and he dumped him.
He was dumped four times.
Eddie wants what Autumn and Marty have.
What Carter and Tori have.
And Eddie has a secret.
He, too, was not over Amber.
If that isn't bad enough, he has feelings for someone else.
Someone he could never have in a million years.
Completely out of his league and unavailable.

Con returns in uniform. He swaggers through the living room. He falls onto the couch and turns on the TV.
"Do we have any beer?" he asks.
"In the fridge," Eddie answers. He reads an article and highlights important passages.
"You're no fun." Con stands and walks past Eddie, into the kitchen. He takes a beer from the fridge. He takes the first sip. "Ah." Eddie rolls his eyes.
"Good day?" he asks.
"The best," Con answers. "Women checking me out right and left. They love a man in a uniform." Eddie can't control his laughter after that comment. "It's true!"
"You tell yourself that," Eddie says.
"What about you?" Con asks. "The dental hygienist or the receptionist?"
"I'm not you," Eddie says. "You're not talking me out of this. Anyway, I have to be friends with someone before I date them. I have to like their personality."
"I like Amber's personality," Con says. "All the other girls are just hot."
"Just don't have any sex on a work night," Eddie says. "I have to go in early tomorrow and we can't have the NYPD falling asleep on the job."
"You're no fun," Con says.
