Sparks of green, purple, and red fly through the air.
Werewolves run in true form.
Fairies fly. Bats fly.
Carter takes out his wand.
"Autumn?" Eddie says. She lowers herself in front of them. Her green wand with purple swirls is in her hand. Her wings are out.
"I had to help," Autumn tells them. "When I heard about Kyle, I knew I needed to get here as fast as I could. Marty's at home with the kids. I need to face my fears."
The farther they walk from the hospital, the more bodies they see on the streets.
Humans and magical creatures.
Clari approaches them.
"Where's Con?" she asks.
"At the hospital," Eddie answers. "Dorothy cut Kyle with a silver knife."
"Is he okay?" Clari asks.
"We don't know yet," Carter answers. "What's happening?"
"After arresting Dorothy Henderson and doing all the paperwork, I stepped outside to find this," Clari says. "But I'm guessing William and Lila are in town and they brought some friends. If you're out here, I guess you're ready to fight."
