Adrian

When the Walker family got home, their father was there to welcome them. "Dad!" Adrian heard Maya cheer as she ran up, jumping into her father's arms. "Maya!" Jay smiled, "how was school?" he asked. Maya shrugged, "normal."

Adrian then sped-walked up to his father, "hey dad." he smiled. Jay looked over to his son with a smile, " hey bud! How have you been?" he asked, "good good," Adrian said, fast, "now how was the show?" he asked, bouncing on his toes.

Jay was the host for a popular new show where regular people test their skills to see if they could be future ninja, it's basically a recreated version of Jay's old show he started after the second Overlord attack.

"One man ran face first into a wall then fell and hit his head on the wall. Got a minor concussion. Somebody else fell and broke a rib."

Nya winced and Maya just laughed. "I'd be surprised if any of them come back." Adrian commented. "Oh they do." Jay smiled.

"I have to do my math homework." Adrian announced and left the room. "That's funny, I don't recall having any math homework." Maya told her parents. He ignored her and ran up the stairs to his room and closed the door

Adrian sprawled out on his bed and closed his eyes. It had been a long day. He suddenly felt a buzz and sat up to grab his phone out of his pocket. "Hello?" he asked. "Hey Adrian, it's Jade. I wanted to know if we had any homework?" Adrian opens his planner and responds. "Just finish the essay for science if you didn't finish in study hall and that's all."

"Thanks!" Jade hangs up and Adrian lays back down with a smile on his face. Why did he suddenly feel so good? So warm and bubbly?

"Your sister says you don't have any math homework, and you just proved her right." Adrian looks up to see his dad standing in the doorway. "Why did you lie?"

"It's been a long day." Adrian lies again. "Is that all?" Jay questions. He nodded, scratching the back of his neck with a smile on his face. Jay smirked, "are you sure?" he asked.

"Well, Jade called me and wanted to know if we had homework, something for science that I don't wanna do." he then met his fathers gaze, "a-and I will do it anyways." he nervously chuckled. Jay smiled and patted his son's back, "I see what's going on son." he said, with a loving sigh.

Adrain gave him a confusing look, "you do?" he asked, tilting his head a little. Jay nodded with a bright smile planted on his face, "its love Adrian, its love." Adrian's eyes widened and his heart started to beat, crazy fast, "What?" he asked.

Jay chuckled to himself, "don't worry I wont tell Lloyd, he may have you guys separated during training." he shrugged, "anyways, the love master is here to give you tips to win over your lady." he winked at his son, "Your mother loved the color blue, so I wore it all the time."

Adrian raised an eyebrow. Jay then chuckled, "ok, so I may have asked your uncle Kai if she liked the color blue," Adrian kept giving him a look, "I was made the blue ninja before I met her." he admitted, "but she likes it! Girls also love humor, so make her laugh."

Adrian was ready for this conversation to be over. "O-ok dad." he said, now thinking of a new topic to talk over, "so Kirby is coming tomorrow?" he asked. Jay nodded his head, "Yup, man I can't wait to see Cole again, he is a great friend." he then looked at his son again, "welp, dinner will be done soon, come down in about fifteen minutes or so," he instructed him. Adrian agreed, "ok, I will watch netflix until-" he noticed the look his father was giving him, "but first I will work on my homework first." he gave his dad an innocent look in return. "That's what I thought." Jay said with a smile before leaving his son's room.
