Chapter 17

Adrian

Adrian walked into the bathroom to get ready for the day. Ever since the Overlord returned, school was stopped to keep everybody safe. He reached for his deodorant, and quickly realized it wasn't working. It looked melted and was running down his arms. He took a quick sniff. "Chocolate?" he said, surprised. Then he suddenly realized. "The prank war has started."

An hour later

Adrian had brought Maya, Kirby and Axel into a room. "I talked to the others, they are a team. You have started a prank war." Kirby and Maya smirked, "They don't know who they're up against."

Adrian thought for a second, before asking, "Who should be pranked first?" Axel smiles. "Creepy, funny or annoying prank?" he asks, and it was clear he was looking for an idea. "Creepy." Adrian smirks. "First victim is Dianna. Lets do this."

Dianna

Dianna woke, her eyes fluttering open. She screamed at the sight in front of her eyes, for it was not expected.

"You've been caged." she read aloud. Dianna suddenly was horrified, looking all around the room. The walls were covered in the same picture. She stormed out of her room and banged on Reese's door. "What?" he asked, slowly opening the door. He looked quite tired and was wearing cat pajamas. "The prank war has begun." she replied, looking serious.

"Can't it start later? It's 4 in the morning. I need my beauty sleep." he complained, leaning against the frame of the door. "I'm so tired I may even sleep till 12." Dianna rolled her eyes and gave Reese a quick peck on the lips. "Awake now?" she asked with a smirk, walking to Ray's room.

"Nope." he grinned, and followed her.

Ray

Ray is a lot like her brother. Well, not really, but all she asked for was a peaceful sleep. She was having a nice dream, which was more like a memory. She was back in her red dress, her hair up in the ponytail. She was next to Dunky, and they were sitting on a blanket, watching the sunset.

Soon, her alarm blared off, ringing through her ears. Her amber eyes hot open, and she sat up right away. She rubbed her eyes, then hit the off button. She yawned, stretching. She got out of bed, putting on a sweatshirt, wanting to go downstairs to see if Zane made any breakfast.

She opened her door, and water spilled over her. She took a minute to process everything, and when she did, "REESE I AM GOING TO KILL YOU!" she said, lighting her hands on fire. She marched down stairs to find her mother and dad sitting on one of the couches, drinking tea. You know, normal adult stuff.

"Mom!" she said, standing in front of her parents, "Look what Reese did !" Skylar started to use fire to dry her off, also using water to get all of the water out of her clothes. Kai smirked, "I'm guessing this is a prank war?" he asked. Ray crossed her arms, "Maybe."

"Well you should go ask Lloyd for ideas." he started to snicker, "Once he turned Zane's gi pink! And messed with Jay's robot and Cole's cooking, and messed with my video game! All in one day!" he grinned, "Still waiting to get him back."

"How did he know so many pranks?" Ray asked, tilting her head, "Well, he was still kinda evil at the time." Kai mumbled. Ray raised an eyebrow, " Lloyd was evil?" she asked, a bit- no, really shocked.

"Well sorta- wait." he stopped, looking at his wife, "We never told you this story?" Skylar shook her head, "I don't think we ever have." She said, digging through her thoughts.
