Chapter 20

I could hear the birds’ singing, I could feel Jack snuggled into me, the light of the morning sun was coming through the curtains, I felt content, I felt loved, I felt whole. I turned to look at Jack, his face was beautiful, his dark long lashes touching his cheeks, his lips plump and ready for a kiss, his skin, smooth and unfurrowed, I leaned up and gentle touched his lips with mine, a touch so gentle I didn’t think he would feel it, but before I knew it, he held me tighter drawing me closer and plunged his tongue into my mouth, I gasped, he chuckled as our tongues fought a slow sexy dance that had my toes curling and my pulse racing. He pulled away and looked at me, “Cass, you need to stop now or I won’t be able to, I need a very cold shower,” he whispered in the most, sexy voice possible, deep and husky and full of lust.  I could feel what he meant as his manhood was pulsing against my thigh. I smiled up at him, licked his cheek and ran out of the bed towards the bathroom, I needed a cold shower as well, but I wasn’t going to say that to him!

I heard a loud chuckle coming from the bed, then just as I was about to reach the bathroom door, he caught me, “I think I need a cold shower more then you,” he said, “unless you want to shower together,” he said cheekily his eye brows moving up and down in a suggestive manner.

I looked at him, a devious plan going off in my head, a bit of distraction, I kissed him deeply, putting all my emotion and love into that kiss, when I felt him completely under the spell, I pushed him away, made the final distance to the door slamming it shut with the bolt, “NOT FAIR, TOTALLY NOT FAIR CASS!” I could hear him groan from the other side, “OF COURSE REVENGE IS SWEET!” he added with a loud laugh.

I shivered in anticipation of the revenge; I think Jack and I had a lot more fun to come, sexy fun.

We both had our showers and holding hands headed down to breakfast, we sat in a comfortable silence, just enjoying the atmosphere of the hotel, each other’s company and the food.

Jack looked at me, “Cass we need to head home tomorrow, it’s your birthday but I’d love to spend time with you today learning a bit about your life and where you grew up.”

“I’d like to show you around, but yes I know I have to get home, we will book our tickets first, then head out if that’s OK with you?”

We made our way to a computer in the foyer, and booked and paid for our tickets, checking in at the same time, then we headed off out to explore. I couldn’t believe Jack had never been outside of Ireland before, so I enjoyed showing him the many sights, The Thames River, Richmond Park, Twickenham, Ham house, Star and Garter, a boat ride, the shops, and of course my favourite Mexican restaurant. We had a lovely but exhausting day, I had shown him where I grew up, my old school, my haunts, my favourite coffee shop, he knew so much more about me at the end of the day.

We ate that evening in Richmond town centre, in a Mexican restaurant, I ordered Chicken fajitas BLISS, it had been so long since I had any. He had the same; he loved to hear the sizzle as the dish was presented, he watched as I wrapped my chicken into the fajita with all the other bits and took a bite of it, “You make food look so sexy,” he said, he made his up and took a bite, “Ymmmmmmmm, delicious,” was all he could manage as the explosions of flavours burst out in his mouth.

We finished our meal, Jack insisted on paying and we headed back to the hotel, walking along the bank of the Thames, holding hands, it was very romantic. He stopped and turned to face me, holding me tight against him, “Thanks for today, I really enjoyed spending time with you Cass, seeing a little bit about you, hearing your stories, I would like to come back again, in the future and continue to explore, I don’t want you to miss being here, we can come as often as you like!” then he gently kissed me, but of course the kiss deepened and I began to lose any sense of time or place, Jack pulled back, “Cass, you are killing me,” he said he as he tried to catch his breath, I could feel his excitement against my lower body, “do you have any idea what you to me, what you do to my body? I plan to spend the rest of my life after we are mated making you so very happy Cass, making you feel complete, I love you so much it hurts!”

His eyes looked into my mine, I could see he meant every word, I could feel his love and yes his lust rolling off him in abundance, “Jake, I love you to.”

Three words was all it took, he smiled, then he swung me up the air spinning me around and finished with another kiss, then we just stood for 5 minutes forehead to forehead with silly smiles on our faces.

Jack broke the moment, “Come on we need to get back, we have an early morning, and I want to just hold you!”

We made it up to our room, I had been thinking all the way back, deep down I knew Jack was for me, I could feel it was forever and whilst  wasn’t quite ready for the full mating maybe he could mark me, my wolf seemed to sense my thoughts, she had been very calm tonight, just being with Jack keeps her calm, she just said, “Please, let him mark us, then I can fully communicate with his wolf, it would make me very happy and Cass you will feel whole as well.” She didn’t push me, she just wanted so bad to be closer to Jack’s wolf, so it was a gentle plea.

He came out of the bathroom,  and I went in still thinking, I have a habit of overthinking sometimes had my ablutions and came out, I sat on the bed beside him, he drew me closer to him and I rested my head on his chest, I could hear the steady rhythm of his heart, “What’s up Cass?” he asked.

“Mark me!” was all I said, I could hear his heart beat increase, I could sense his excitement, then I could feel worry.

“Cass, are you sure? Don’t get me wrong I so want to mark you, hell I want to marry you, but I don’t want to rush you. You have been through so much; I can wait if you are not one hundred percent sure. It will make your feelings so much stronger for me, it will allow us to mind link, it will allow our wolves to talk, and Cass have no doubt it will speed up the full mating process, you and your wolf will want to complete sooner then maybe you want to now.”

I could hear everything he said, my wolf was so happy that he was happy to be patient, but she wasn’t, she wanted him, heck she would do the full mating ceremony now if she could, but she wasn’t pushing me too far, she knew and understood what I had been through, all she said was, “He loves us Cass, he won’t ever let us down, please let him mark us.”

“Jack, I hear what you are saying, I understand, but I love you, and I want to get closer to you, mark me!”

He smiled the most brilliant smile, he began to kiss me, he covered my face he the most beautiful gentle kisses, then he nibbled at my lips, I opened my mouth allowing his tongue to do its erotic dance with mine, the kiss deepened and I knew he had me body and soul, he left my mouth and began to kiss down my neck, to a place just at the base, he kissed it, the he licked it, my body arched, who thought one spot could be so erogenous, I felt a grazing of teeth, against my neck, erotic or what and then my brain was blown to smithereens as Jack’s canines bit into the spot, love and lust ricocheted through my body and if it was possible to have an orgasm from a bite then I just had it, because my breathing rate increased,  I saw stars, my core was on fire and that fire spread throughout my whole body, I felt at one with Jack I felt beautiful, loved, sexy and complete.

He continued to lick the spot after his canines had retracted until my breathing slowed down and my body calmed, he looked into my eyes smiling, “Jack, that was beautiful, did you feel the same emotions as me?”

“I felt mine and yours, we are one now, I can feel your every emotion through the link, and baby, without doubt  that was the most beautiful experience I have ever had in my whole life, thank you for making me complete, I love you Cass body and soul, you are mine now I am never, ever letting you go.”

He kissed my lips again, maybe it was what had just happened, maybe it was the busy day, but I fell into a blissful sleep, safe in Jack’s arms.
