Here it is as promised my new story, it's called Galway Girl and follows Roisin's adventures as she meets her mate!

Galway Girl

I’m a romantic, raised on Jane Austin’s, Pride and Prejudice and Shakespeare’s, Romeo and Juliet, I wanted the full love story. I viewed the world through rose tinted glasses, I had it all a great family who loved me unconditionally, I was good at school, I had wonderful friends, and I was a werewolf who was waiting for my mate…… my Romeo, my Mr Darcy, Leonardo Di Caprio or rather as I prefer to call him Jack from the Titanic…… but life doesn’t always go according to plan. This is my story, don’t judge me, and don’t judge my mate until you hear the whole story, because sometimes as I found out what we think we saw isn’t always what it appears!

Chapter 1

Roisin’s POV

I couldn’t wait, my name is Roisin and I’m finally heading off to university to study Maths (sorry my favourite subject of all time!) I was an Alpha’s daughter, his name was Sean and he was Alpha of Co. Clare in Ireland, I had a brother John, who had taken over as Alpha from my father, a sister Cassandra and a fabulous mother called Hannah. I had had a privileged upbringing in the grounds of Dromoland castle, but I wasn’t spoilt, just loved, I didn’t get everything I wanted but I got everything I needed there is a distinction!

I had chosen Galway University for a few reasons, firstly it was only an hour from home, I wanted to move out, taste true freedom, but I didn’t want to go too far. Secondly we were friendly with the pack that ran Galway, we worked together, and thirdly, it was meant to be a fun place on every level.

I was packed, mum’s car was loaded she was sad I knew that and I can honestly say I was going to miss her as much as she was going to miss me, but I was ready to go, I was ready for freedom, I was 18, but in her eyes I would always be her baby, the youngest of the family.

I kissed my brother John goodbye, he warned me to be good, to enjoy college life, but not too much! He told me the Alpha up there had recently taken over, apparently he was also at the university but in his final year, I was booked to meet his Beta later on today with mum and dad as the Alpha was away on pack business, it was just a formality as I said we had a great relationship with them.

My sister Cass and her husband Jack came with their children my beautiful nephew and niece, to say good bye, honestly you would think I was emigrating the way they were all hugging me and telling me to be careful, rather than being just 50 miles away, the counties were next door to each other for goodness sake. With a smile on my face, I climbed into the back of the car, dad was driving and mum was in the front beside him – the boot was loaded, and we were off, my adventure was about to begin!

We arrived an hour later, at our pack house, yup we had a house, in the college grounds, it was huge, and anyone from our pack that went to Galway stayed there, I had heard we were the house of parties, but John or my dad didn’t know that, I couldn’t wait! My room was on the first floor, it was huge, with an en-suite bathroom, it had a laptop and TV and of course a music system, all I needed was my clothes in the wardrobe and I was set to go. The house was clean, and all meals prepared, we had a member of our community who lived in a small house on the grounds, who came each morning, cooked, and cleaned, I think they knew what students could be like, so rather than have a house that needed a major clean or to have wolves who were starving my brother decided it was better to have someone come in and look after us – I wasn’t complaining.

Mum helped me unpack, whilst dad checked the security out – ever the Alpha protecting his pack – although I knew John would have done a great job especially as his little sister  - me – was going to be living here. With the unpacking done, mum and I headed down to dad, who was looking happy (I think) he was talking to a pack member, who was trying to look a lot more efficient and serious than a student – not quite sure it was working though.

Mum looked at dad, “We need to go and meet the Beta.”

Dad nodded and after a few more words with the student who was named Joe we left to go out to the car. My stomach was rumbling, mum laughed, “Thank God we are meeting him in a restaurant, I’m starving as well.”

We headed into town, parked up and walked the small distance to the restaurant, my favourite,  Mexican!
