Chapter 26

Cass’s POV

We arrived back at the house to find dressing gowns out on the porch for us to shift back into, I grabbed one and headed off to change, shifting back was painless and quick. I walked in to find dad, Jack and John sitting round the table a mug of something hot in front of them and a plate of sandwiches. I sat in the chair next to Jack his hand automatically seeking mine I ate some food and drank the hot chocolate then looked up; they were all staring at me.

My eye brow crept up my face in a questioning manner, until dad spoke, “Cass, this is huge, every member of the pack saw your ancestors, you are a golden wolf, we have so much to do.”

I thought, then just said, “It doesn’t change anything, I am still me, I still love art, that is my first passion, I am a member of this pack, I will work and train and do whatever I have to do, but most importantly I am Jack’s mate and as for anything else, well I will cross that bridge  as I come to it, I want to be as normal as possible for as long as possible.”

“We have to tell the council, and I need to do some research;  but from now on Cass until we know exactly what all this means I’m asking you not to go anywhere without someone with you for protection, I promised your mother and ancestors to protect you and as your dad and someone who loves you I intend to keep my word.”

I just nodded, it had been a long night, to be honest, I wasn’t really much into going places, just my cabin and as that was on the grounds that should be fine, I yawned, exhaustion beginning to consume me, I got up, hugged and kissed dad and John, wishing them both a goodnight and thanking them for they had done for me, then I grabbed Jack’s hand and dragged him upstairs with me.

We reached my room, he had been so quiet, just listening to everything downstairs, we opened the door and I looked at him, “Jack are you OK?” he nodded then pulled me into a hug and kissed me gently.

“Cass, I’m going to take a quick shower, then I want to hold you all night, I love you baby.” With that he headed out to the spare bathroom on the landing allowing me use of mine, I headed under the shower, allowing the warm water to relax my muscles, I had never been a really active person, and suddenly I have run miles all in one night. My teeth were brushed and then I wrapped a towel around me as I had forgotten to take in any bed clothes, I headed out to find Jack lying on the bed, when he saw me his eyes turned a black colour, he sat up and held his arms out, I wasn’t sure if I was ready for what might come if I went to Jack in just a towel but what I was sure of is that I wanted, no needed his touch at that moment.

I walked towards him, and allowed his arms to envelope me, he carefully placed me on his lap as if I was a precious breakable object and his head and mouth headed down towards my mark. I could hear him drinking in my scent, I could feel his tongue lathering  my mark, my senses went into over drive, a fire began burning in my stomach, my bones turned to jelly, my brain pulsed with erotic thoughts every single one involving Jack.

His hands began to move under the towel, slowly unwrapping it, exposing my body, his hands left a trail of fire as they moved along my skin, his head moved down to my breast gently suckling on first one then the other, my core was pulsing, wetness and fire in its midst, I threw my head back, “Oh God Jack, please!”

He looked, deep into my eyes, “Cass, do you want this? Are you sure? Because I won’t be able to hold back soon.”

I looked into those brown eyes which have stolen my heart, “Jack I love you with my whole being, I don’t just want this I need this and my wolf needs this.”

His smile grew, the lust filled eyes glowed and he growled, his mouth found mine and our tongues danced once again, his hands stroked my body into a frenzy, he kissed parts of my body that caused erotic thoughts to surge through every fibre of my being, his fingers found my core, he felt my wetness, knowing I was ready, he gently lay me down, “Cass, I’m sorry if this hurts, I will go as slowly as I can,” he positioned himself over me, I could feel him pulsing above my entrance, he slowly entered me, I could feel him slide in deep, a quick sharp pain was followed by a sensual sensation as he began to slowly moved inside me, my breath hitched, my head flung back I called his name, as he kissed me, his lips found my erogenous zone on my neck and nibbled, his pace increased,  could feel my body spiralling out of control, being lifted to a level where I lost all sense of everything except Jack and my intense love for him, I cried out his name once more before my body and soul shattered into a million pieces as my orgasm took me to a place I have never been to before, I heard Jack’s guttural cry as he found his release, and then he held me, kissing me gently, telling me how much he loved me, feathering my face and upper body with kisses, then looking into my eyes our foreheads together, he told me how much he loved me, we fell asleep, our bodies sated, our souls intertwined as one never to be parted.
