Cass’s POV

The next morning I awoke, feeling whole, complete, happy, content, there wasn’t one single word that could begin to describe the way my body and soul felt having completed the mating process. Jack’s arms were around my waist holding me, protecting me, loving me, our legs intertwined, my head against his chest. I tried to escape, a bathroom call becoming more urgent, “Jack, Jack, I need the bathroom,” I whispered, “let me go and I’ll be straight back!”

He opened his eyes and looked down at me, “I am never, ever letting you go, my beautiful mate,” he whispered, “You are mine and only mine,” but with a little smirk, “but maybe two minutes for the bathroom is acceptable.”

I rolled my eyes, and dashed off the bed into the bathroom, I went to the toilet, and ran the toothbrush around my mouth, I had no intention of being away from Jack either, but he didn’t need to know that. I looked into the mirror my eyes were bright, my skin shining; my hair soft and silky, if this is what love does for you bring it on.

Then my eyes slid down to my mark, it had changed, I could see Jack’s wolf, but now it had turned gold and was in a double rimmed gold circle, it was absolutely beautiful, I ran back to the bed, jumping on it, I kissed Jack, (yes I had missed him) he hugged me close, I could feel he was getting excited again, “Jack wait, look!” I pointed to my mark.

He gently pulled my hair back and looked closely, he shook his head as if confused at first, then smiled, “My mark and your mark are linked forever, how sexy is that? It’s beautiful Cass just like you.”

I looked at the side of his neck where I had bitten down last night as we had reached our climax, and there on his shoulder sat the same symbol, his wolf in gold with my two circles enclosing him, I smiled and stroked it, moving in I allowed my tongue, to gently lick it, I could feel shudders running up and down his body, it made me feel powerful that I could make one person feel like this, he grabbed me, “Two can play at that game baby, and I fully intend to take the lead.”

I could feel, a growl erupting from somewhere deep inside of him, as he flipped me over so he was on top, and he began to nuzzle my mark, once again my body turned to jelly, electricity ran up and down my spine and then through every square inch of my body setting every nerve ending of fire, passion consumed me, I called out his name as he plunged into me, pushing deeper and deeper, faster and faster, “Jack, please,” I begged as I dug my nails into his back, the climax built, my brain lost all control as my body rolled with pleasure, suddenly it was as if a series of explosions had erupted in my body as I reached my full orgasm, I screamed his name, as he called mine, he bit into his mark again, just as I bit into his. I held onto him as if he was my saviour until my body finished convulsing and my heart beat returned to normal, “I love you Jack, so much.”

He raised himself up on his elbows, he looked into my eyes, “Cass, I love you, with by body and soul, I don’t know how to explain in words just how much you complete me, your touch sets my body on fire and yet it calms me as no one else can, your words sooth me, your laughter and smile lifts my spirits, your,” I didn’t give him a chance to finish as I leaned in capturing his mouth again.
