Katsuki struggles to be his littlest self and resorts to other unhealthy coping mechanisms until Kaminari decides to finally jump in. Requested ❤

The very moment Deku slammed Katsuki into the ground, with nearly 10% of his power, Katsuki knew he made a mistake.

The air got knocked out of his lungs, making it hard to breathe. The bone-crushing weight of his childhood friend on top of his torso, pressing onto his definitely bruising abdomen. The no-doubt hint of a nasty headache coming on. It was all too much. Katsuki messed up.

All he wanted was to feel hazy, make his mind go fuzzy, and usually, the best way to do that was to get hit hard enough to see stars. And Deku played his part well, even if unintentionally.

But this time, all Katsuki felt was pain, and his mind didn't go into a floaty place. Instead, he lied on the cold harsh ground feeling every nerve-ending pain in his body every time he breathed.

That wasn't supposed to happen, he'd taken worse hits before, in his scatterbrained thinking he briefly thought, why was he focusing so much on the pain? It took a second to realize... Instead of his mind going hazy, his mindset was just getting younger, he was slipping into littlespace.

He didn't know what was worse, slipping into littlespace in the middle of ground beta with others around, or having his childhood friend watch as he embarrassed himself.

He needed to see Kaminari quickly, or else he'd lose it.

When Katsuki looked up at Deku with teary eyes, the former rage left the green boy's expression. Seems whatever Katsuki said to anger him wasn't worth the mess he was in now. "Kacchan? Are you okay?"

Katsuki could only grunt, attempting to roll away as Deku scrambled off him.

"Kacchan..." Deku tried again, gently grasping his shoulder.

But the blond shook his hand off, shuffling up onto his knees, immediately hunching over in pain. "Go 'way..." He wheezed, "Need... I need..." Katsuki didn't want to say it despite the little side of him begging him to.

"Need what Kacchan? You're injured right now, I'll grab whatever you need."

Katsuki shook his head, "No, no... go 'way pwease..." He whined, trying to be quiet as he finally said what he needed to say, "need daddy... gotta go get daddy..."

The blond used all his strength to push himself up to his feet and stumble away from Deku. Only for him to follow behind closely, confused. "You want Uncle Masaru? Kacchan aren't your parents in Paris right now? How can you--"

"Not him! Daddy! I need him!" Katsuki cut in before he could stop himself, his voice sounding lighter as he panted through the pain.

"I- uh... Kacchan I have no idea who you're talking about. I'm sorry... But we should really take you to Recovery Girl!" Deku forcibly took Katsuki's shoulders by the hands and tried to steer him towards the medical room, but Katsuki wasn't having any of it.

"No! No! No!" Katsuki planted his feet to the ground and laid all his weight behind on Deku, keeping them both still.

Katsuki needed to go the other way, his daddy said he wasn't far!

"Kacchan please--"

"--Hey Midoriya, I think I can handle this." A familiar voice cut Deku off, it also surprised Katsuki as he whipped his head (which was proven to be a mistake as pain stabbed his skull) to see the one person he was looking for.

Kaminari was so close, it made Deku jump, making it easy for Katsuki to flop into his caregiver's arms.

"Kaminari I think he has a concussion, he isn't really like himself. I think I should--"
