Denki has a breakdown in class and the least expected swoops in to help him. Requested ❤

Denki was having quite a few off days lately. The class noticing his lack of input and unusual quietness in lectures. His fidgeting clearly distracting everyone from doing their own work.

He was usually a happy, sometimes flirtatious, person. Seeing him like this left everyone with an unsettling feeling inside their gut.

Even Aizawa was unnerved about it, watching Denki with a careful eye. Focusing on him when he asked the class questions. None of which Denki raised his hand to answer. Since no one really wanted to talk with the atmosphere so static-y and uncomfortable, Aizawa just gave them a pop quiz to do for the remainder of the class.

That turned out to be a bad move.

A couple of minutes in, everyone got through it without much trouble. Except, the girls and some guys noticed their hair rising up, and the room getting fuller of static.

Denki was also sparking.

All the students that sat around him hurriedly jumped away when he unexpectedly sobbed, large cracks of lighting shooting at the ground around him. The blond started to shake and he hugged himself, trying so hard to hold whatever unstable emotions he had in. But it didn't work, he continued to spark off without any control to stop. It made him cry harder, thus more sparks.

Everyone was kinda frozen at the display, even Aizawa refrained from using his quirk for a moment. He instead gave a warning, getting closer. "Kaminari, stop."

But Denki only cried, fisting his hair as he shouted, "I can't! It won't stop!" He rocked back and forth, everything was becoming muddled with his tears and his brain felt fuzzy. "I don't get it! It's too hard! Stupid, stupid, STUPID!!" He smacked his fist against his temple, making the lightning crackle around him.

Before Aizawa could erase his quirk so no one would get hurt, someone jumped in front of Denki. It surprised everyone.

Bakugou grunted as small bolts hit his skin and burned small holes in his clothes, but bore with it so he could grab a hold of the other blond. "Denki!! Calm down!"

Obviously, Bakugou's choice of words didn't help the situation, but at least it didn't make it worse. Denki sobbed, "I'm sowwy! I'm sowwry I'm so stupid!"

"You're not stupid! Get that dumbass idea out of your head now!" Bakugou shouted, pulling Denki to him, grunting just a little bit harder when his body met the source of the sparks.

The moment Denki felt the close physical contact, he collapsed. "Papa!" He cried, sinking into Bakugou's arms.

"I'm here Sugar Bear, it's okay, take deep breaths." He pressed Denki's head to his chest and breathed in, helping the little follow in sync.

It worked like a charm, Denki copied Bakugou's breathing immediately and the lightning bolts minimized to small sparks.

Giving Denki a minute to stabilize himself, Bakugou glared at their classmates (who were now several feet away), daring anyone to say a word. None of them did, all too confused at the soft display in front of them.

He then glared in Aizawa's direction, annoyed and angry at his teacher for not erasing Denki's quirk to diffuse the situation, only to find him on the floor knocked out, having been shocked unconscious.

He sighed, petting a still crying Denki in his embrace. "Shh, it's okay..."

"Papa..." Denki whispered, trying his best to somehow squash his body into Bakugou's, failing to get close enough and whining.
