Himiko takes great risks to see her caregiver. Requested ❤
It was a normal weekend in the dorms, nearly everyone was out in the common room doing activities. Uraraka was out in the kitchen with the girls drinking tea and having a conversation about their celebrity crushes as well as other random things.
The brown-haired girl noticed something unusual though. She couldn't see Deku anywhere, who would naturally be interrogating everyone on their quirks any chance he got. Yet as she scanned the room she found no green-haired boy buzzing about.
She gave up discreetly looking for him, drinking a few sips of her tea and tuning back into the girls' conversation, only to jump when she felt a couple of taps on her bare shoulder. "Ah!"
Some of her tea sloshed out and ran down her cup and she quickly put it down to make sure she didn't possibly burn herself.
"I'm sorry Uraraka! I didn't mean to startle you!" She heard off to her side. Looking to see the person of the day. The green-haired boy she had been looking for finally turned up.
"That's alright... What do you need me for Deku?" She politely asked, carefully analyzing him.
He was acting per usual, fidgety and nervous. A slight blush danced across his cheeks as his eyes darted around the room, looking anywhere but at her. He held a notebook in his hand. She had never seen him with that one before.
"Can I talk to you?" Deku hesitantly asked, eyes flitting to the group of girls looking at them, the spotlight was on them. "... Privately? Do you mind?"
Uraraka caught herself before starting to squint at Deku, slightly shaking her head with a smile. "I don't mind, of course, we can talk. Let's go to my room."
She ignored the teasing whispers sent her way as she led Deku up to her room.
The walk was quiet, but she began to notice how terribly tense Deku was. His feet firmly planting the ground, almost stomping. As if he was trying to keep from skipping his way along beside her.
She inwardly smiled. She knew who this was.
She remained quiet for the rest of the walk, though. Reaching her closed door and opening it, letting Deku head in first.
He walked inside without a second thought. Uraraka slowly trailing in after and turning to close and lock the door, making sure to double-check.
As she did this she heard a thud behind her. She turned to see the random notebook on the floor, long forgotten. Seeing the figure of Deku no more.
His features melted into new feminine ones. Messy space buns were the last to form on top of the figure's head.
The (now) girl threw herself into Uraraka's arms. "Mama!"
Uraraka hugged her back just as tightly. "Hey, my little baby bat. Long time no see?"
Himiko bounced, a sign she wanted to be picked up. Uraraka hoisted her effortlessly on her hip and moved towards the bed. "You knew it was me didn't you?!"
"Noooo! Of course, I didn't!" Uraraka exaggeratedly replied, her tone clearly lying.
Himiko giggled despite that. "Yea, you did mama! I saw you looking at me weirdly. What gave me away?"
"Well..." Uraraka sat down on the bed, shifting her little girl onto her lap. "For starters, the notebook didn't look like Deku's. His is more beat up and old."
Her little spared a brief glance back at the notebook discarded on the floor. "Ah dang it!" Himiko turned back to look at Uraraka with a pout, "I knew I should have grabbed his real one while I was there!"
