The start of Iida and Bakugou's caregiver/little relationship. (CW: antidepressant medication mention)

Bakugou was always punctual. He got up on time, ate meals and did activities coordinately throughout the day, he even went to bed at 8 o'clock on the dot.

Or at least that's what the rest of class 1-A thinks.

In truth, Bakugou was rather a mess, especially when he slipped into his headspace. He never got anything done that way. Not only did slipping involuntary make his anxiety spike, but he also lost sleep and got distracted several times to the point he would cry.

He wanted to reject his age regression. He believed, despite finding comfort and safety within it, age regression was bad and for someone becoming a hero like him shouldn't have these problems. It only made his mindset worse.

Call it child admiration, but in a midst of his headspace, he found himself sticking close to Iida in his own way. He wasn't necessarily friendly or clingy, but more like a cat. He needed to be in the same room as Iida and mimicked everything he did. As much as he wanted to scoff at his classmate's strict principles and his outrageous way of attempting to enforce them, Bakugou learned pretty well from his schedules and tips.

Iida seemed to catch on too. He noticed Bakugou watching him out of the corner of his eye, whenever he got up to use the bathroom at an appropriate time, so did Bakugou. He found that even when the rest of the class didn't take his advice or follow a rule, Bakugou still did it even if half-heartedly. He studied when suggested, ate a certain amount recommended, and went to bed when Iida said to (when speaking to the whole class)

It wasn't Bakugou's character. Iida couldn't figure out why someone as explosive as he would ever follow him around like a kitten. Iida was intrigued, he wanted to find out why, and that's what he did.

Bakugou had left the common room abruptly, making Iida shortly follow after. He made his way to Bakugou's dorm room and firmly knocked on the closed door.

There was a curse in the background and shuffling. Suddenly there was a crash and Iida almost jumped. "Bakugou? Are you okay?"

There was no answer for a moment, making Iida worried. A small voice muffled behind the door spoke, "M'okay."

Iida first assumed he didn't hear clearly, obviously since a door was between him. Bakugou never slurred his words.

Yet then the door sounded with a click and opened slowly.

Bakugou appeared into view, a hand against his forehead, with a wincing face. Around his eyes were red and he looked ready to cry.

Caregiver instincts hit Iida all at once. Clearly, this wasn't something he was supposed to see. "Bakugou?"

The boy in question tried to glare but came out as more of a pout. "What you want?"

His pitch was slightly higher and his tone softer, he rubbed the palm of his hand against the spot of his forehead. Iida was itching to reach out and grab it.

Bakugou didn't even flinch when Iida's large hand-pulled his own away from his head. "How did you get this? Does it hurt?"

Iida feather touched the small bump that was forming and Bakugou shied away from his touch.

He told Iida with a pouty face, "it don't. Imma big boy..."

He was quiet, and this wasn't in comparison to his usually loud voice. He let his words slur as he looked away, crossing his arms.

Iida had a feeling he knew what was going on with Bakugou, the boy's choice of words further assuring his predictions. Iida checked the hallway, thankfully no one else was here to witness something Bakugou obviously wanted to keep a secret.
