I sigh as I dust off the photo of Richie and I dancing our first dance at our wedding. It feels like so long ago, well last year felt like it lasted five due to this stupid virus. We had big plans but we had to push them back. We moved into a moderately big house in LA a month after our wedding and then we adopted a two year old girl called Holly. She's six now and acts a lot like Richie. She has long brunette hair and blazing blue eyes. Then, we adopted a three year old in 2019 called Frank. Which is a coincidence as I always wanted to name a son after my dad. He's five now and is an odd mixture of me and Richie. He has curly auburn hair like Beverly but brown eyes.

"Slow down!" I warn as they go rushing past me, screaming and heading to the games room which is where Richie probably is, playing GTA. I sigh and finish cleaning, putting the supplies away.

Richie isn't the only successful Tozier anymore. Oh no, I began a blog back in 2018 and became popular. Then it lead me to write some books and suddenly, I was famous too. My blogs are mostly about the struggles of being parent. Especially without a sufficient father figure and an abusive mom. I just want others out there to know they aren't alone. It's also allowed me to know I'm not alone either. Richie also took up acting again and did star in the adaptation of Bill's book that was basically our life. He ended up playing my character scarily well.

"DADDY NO!" The kids screech as Richie chases them down the hall. Trying to entertain two kids whilst not being allowed out of the house for the past almost year has been difficult. But Richie is a huge kid himself so we've managed.

"GOTCHA!" Richie says as he lifts Frankie up, who laughs loudly. I smile and Holly hides behind me. I place a hand gently on the back of her head.

"Don't let him get me, Papa!" She begs and I chuckle.

"Why's that?" I ask as Frankie shrieks in even more laughter.

"He's an evil sea monster who's eaten Frank!" She replies and I laugh, lifting her up with a small sigh. I'm 45 and out of shape for lifting up my six year old daughter.

"We should let dad get ready for his interview, huh?" I say and the two nod as Richie and I place them down on the ground. He strolls over to me and kisses me gently. Richie has an interview on a big talk show called Late Night with Seth Meyers. We have to do it over Zoom, though, due to COVID. Oh joy. I hate this stupid virus.

"My outfits on our bed, right?" He asks and I nod with a grin, watching him as he walks off. I bite my lip, chuckle and then go into the living room. Holly and Frankie are kneeling by the coffee table, doodling on paper. I sit down on the couch and smile.

"Are we doing the quiz tonight?" Holly asks and I shrug, I'm not actually sure. We've been doing a lot of quizzes over Zoom with the other losers lately. Stan and Patty host." Well, I hope so. Because I want to beat Robyn this time."

I laugh slightly. She got my competitiveness. Frankie smiles and continues to draw. For a five year old, he's actually really good at art.

"I think I could beat both Robyn and Wren combined!" Holly says and I chuckle again. Robyn is Stan and Patty's three year old daughter and Wren is their two year old son. I don't think it's fair for a six year old to be so competitive with a three year old but I know she's only joking.

"They are a lot younger than you, though." Richie states as he walks in, wearing his outfit for his interview. It's a plain gray jumper and black jeans." How'd I look?"

"Good. Dashing. Handsome. I could go on." I say with a grin. Richie smiles and leans down, kissing the top of my head gently. I smile and he goes to walk off to the dining room.
