Today is like any other day.

Get up, go to university, go to work, come home. This is my life, I'm nothing fancy. I live with my parents and younger sister. We are a small yet happy family and I couldn't ask for anything else but there is just one thing I want.

A man that loves me unconditionally, to infinity and beyond, always and forever, even after the end of time.

That is all I've asking for since I was 13 and now I'm 20.

Right now I'm at work. I'm a waitress at a restaurant called Pedro's. I've been working here for a month and I get paid tomorrow.

"Annalise can you please take that table for me?" Emma a work friend of mine asks

On my first day here she was really nice to me and we immediately became great friends. She is short with long red hair and brown eyes and man does she have a temper.

"Only if you come shopping with me tomorrow." I say and she smiles

"Sure, you're a life saver." She says and runs to the bathroom. She ate something bad and she's been pouring her guts out the entire day.

Shame.

I walk to her table and as I do I actually see who's sitting there.

These are four extremely hot guys!

Do not embarrass yourself!

That small inner voice shouts and man does she annoy me.

"Good evening, are you ready to order?" I ask with a smile on my face.

"Hi umm... Where's Emma?" A guy with blond hair and green eyes says. He has an accent maybe Italian.

"She isn't feeling well so I'll be your waitress." I say

"And you are pretty lady?" A guy with brown hair and brown eyes asks

"I'm Annalise." I say and now all of them are looking at me except the one in the corner he's on his phone and I can't see his face.

I want to see your face guy turn around.

"Are you new here?" A guy that looks like the brown haired one asks but he has green eyes.

"I started waitressing a week ago." I say and he nods.

"We'll have three Coke's and what about you...?" The blond asks looking at the one on his phone.

"Whiskey." He simply says and I nod my head then go get their drinks.

As soon as I return I put their drinks down and take their orders just as I'm about to leave the brown haired flirty one grabs my wrist.

"What say you and I go to my place when your shifts over?" He asks with a smirk.

I yank my wrist free and give him my evil look.

"I don't know who you think you are but I don't lay around so thanks but no thanks and if you ever touch me again without my permission you perv you'll regret it." I say

"What the fuck?" He asks

"Man she handed your ass to you on a silver platter." The blond says while laughing. I just roll my eyes and walk back to the kitchen.

When their orders are ready I tell Emma to take it out because I need to use the bathroom.

I am a nice person that comes from a good home with great manners but if you think that you can take advantage of me I'll tell you where to get lost.

Do I look like a bloody hooker?

I go back to the kitchen just as Emma comes back.

"Girl the guys are asking for you." She says and I give her a confused look.

"What guys?" I ask

"Mason, Jason, Alexander and Mr. Knight. The guys you just served." She says

"Why the brown haired one is a perv." I say and she laughs

"He is at first but he's actually really nice. Come on I'll go with you." She says and we walk back to their table.

"Guys this is Annalise, Annalise this is Mason." She says and points to the brown hair and green eyed one. "This is his brother Jason." She says and points to the perv. "This is Alexander." She says and points to the blond. "And that is Mr. Knight." She say but doesn't point at him.

"Hey Annalise you are the second girl that has called Jason a perv. Emma was the first." Alexander says

"Yeah, Jason is the stupid twin forgive his caveman like behaviour." Mason says with a smirk and I smile.

"You should say thank you that we're in public. I apologize for my previous behaviour." Jason says

"You are forgiven." I say with a smile.

They actually are nice.

"Are you just going to sit there on your phone the whole time and not eat?" Alexander asks Mr. Knight

"I was busy." He simply says in a thick manly voice that has an accent but his is thicker that Alexander's. "I apologize so who is the new girl?" He asks and finally looks at me

He is freaking gorgeous! He has pitch black hair, deep ocean blue eyes, high cheek bones that make him look extra hot. His jaw is so sharp it looks like its been carved out of marble but what captures me is his eyes.

They are so deep but they block out any show of emotion and yet I find them mysterious and I want to find out who this Mr. Knight actually is.

"Good evening Mr. Knight." I say with a smile more of a blush you mean.

That inner voice!

"Hello Annalise so you're who all this fuss is about?" He asks

I'm confused what fuss?

"Yeah man she got Jason good without even swearing. I'm impressed." Alexander says

Oh that fuss

I look at my watch and realise that my shift is over.

"Thanks for paying Jason see you guys at the office tomorrow." Mr. Knight says

"What I'm not paying and where are you going?" Jason asks

"I'm going home. I have a meeting early tomorrow morning with Mr. Vernon." He says

"It was nice meeting all of you but my shift is over and I need to get home." I say with a smile.

"See you around." "Bye Annalise." "See you Annalise." I hear and i smile and wave back. "Good evening Annalise." Mr. Knight says and I find myself blushing once again.

I walk to the kitchen and say Good bye to everyone then I go out and go to the front of the restaurant.

"Waiting for someone Annalise?" A voice says behind me and I place my hands over my beating heart. Mr. Knight

"I'm waiting for my cab sir." I say As he stands next to me I take note of how tall he is. I probably come just above his torso. He is well built too, he definitely works out a lot.

"Call me Xavier Mr. Knight is my father. Your boyfriend doesn't mind you taking a cab?" He asks

"No I don't have a boyfriend." I say

"Really? Well then can I get your number?" He asks and I look at him with wide eyes

"Okay." I say and he takes my number and saves it in his phone.

"I'll call you." He says and gets into a black Mercedes-Benz and drives off.

That was extremely unexpected.
