A few days later
Surprisingly Xavier and Granny get along amazingly well. We've decided to have the engagement party today at Xaviers house. This will be the first time that my family is going to his house.
The party starts within 2 hours and I just finished bathing. Jenna and Tyler get busy with my hair and makeup and then I go put on my dress.
It's a beautiful silver dress that reaches the floor, it's simple and elegant just the way I like it. It has a nice v neckline that isn't too low and it has a slot in the side that isn't too high. I pair it with black heels and black and silver jewellery. My hair is done in a beautiful messy up do and my makeup isn't too much just the at i like it.
I go out of my bedroom and into the now empty house. I look at myself in the mirror and I almost start crying.
I look so beautiful, I love Xavier and I'm about to marry him in less than a month. I don't know how my life took such a quantum leap.
A cars engine is heard outside and I go out to see Xavier sitting in a brand new Mercedes-Benz. He gets out and walks over to me. He gives me a kiss on the cheek and looks me up and down.
"You are truly the most beautiful woman I have ever seen." He says. He's wearing a black suit with a silver handkerchief, a silver bow tie and silver buttons.
"I love my life because it gave me you. Let's go the people must be waiting." I say and take his strong hand in mine, he opens the door for me and we get in and he drives us to his house. There are a lot of fancy cars standing in the driveway.
We go into the house and were welcomed with cheers and applause.
The rest of the night goes on without any disturbances, I had do much fun and it wasn't as stuck up as I thought it would be. We got so many gifts that the gift table was overflowing.
Xavier and I thanked everyone for coming and he said such beautiful words that made my heart melt. We walked the guests out and now it was just the two of us and our friends, named Bella, Ferro, Emma, Alex and Ace.
"Open the gifts i want to see what everything is." Bella says
"Xavier you look tired." I say.
"I'm not tired I'm happy and a but drunk." He says and him and the guys start laughing.
"But the champagne had no alcohol in it." Emma says confused
"I know how to get a few bottles into his house without anyone noticing." Ferro says and winks at Emma and she just rolls her eyes.
"How much did you drink?" I ask Xavier
"I drank 3 or was it 4?" He asks with a smirk
"I drank 2 and Ferro drank 3, Xav has the highest tolerance for alcohol, I only brought like 10" Ace says
"10 What drinks, shots?" I ask
"Bottles of whiskey and there is one left so Xav drank 4 bottles." Ace says with a smirk.
"Bottles!? Xavier...!" I am so shocked and concerned right now I dont even know what to say.
"I'm fine let's open the gifts." He says and grabs a box, he pulls the wrapping paper off and opens it.
"What is this?" Xavier asks and gives it to me.
"This is the newest state of the art pregnancy test. Who gave this?" I ask and see that it was my aunt the doctor.
"We'll probably need that in a few weeks." Xavier says and chuckles.
I just take a random box and open it.
"This is a box of condoms." I say with a sarcastic smile and give it to Xavier he chuckles.
"Who gave this? These condoms are too small they'll probably got Ferro, here take them." Xavier says and gives the box to Ferro who gladly takes it.
"These are some expensive condoms, if large is small for you then what size do you wear?" Ferro asks
"Extra large those won't even go on and if they do they break." Xavier says
"Stop talking about condoms please." I say and open another box.
"This is for me." I say and immediately put it behind my back so no one can see it.
This is black and white lace lingerie in my size thank you Emma.
"What was that?" Xavier asks
"A bottle of my favorite perfume thank you Emma." I say
"I didn't buy you perfume I bought... Oh right the white and black one that you love no problem sis." She says and takes a swig of the whiskey.
We continue opening gifts and we are left with 4 very drunk people that would be Bella, Emma, Alex and Ferro. Xavier made himself a cup of coffee and is almost completely sober now and Ace stopped drinking and made himself 3 cups of coffee.
Its around 1am in the morning and we have opened all of the gifts finally.
I have 2 pregnancy tests
I have 2 all expenses paid spa vouchers.
5 New pairs of lingerie
2 versace shopping vouchers
2 Gucci shopping vouchers
8 jewellery sets
A few very expensive perfumes and a few bottles of wine.
Xavier has
5 bottles of whiskey
6 bottles of vodka
4 boxes of condoms and he had to give 3 go Ferro so now he has one.
A 2 million dollar investment in his business
3 pairs of cufflinks
And a shopping voucher for Armani
When Xavier is drunk he's very touchy, snappy and funny.
"People you know where all of the bedrooms are, make yourselves comfortable. Annalise let's go to bed." He says and i stand up
"My feet are killing me." I say and just like that Xavier picks me up bridal style and Carey's me to our room.
"Remember you have guests so don't go wild brother!" Ferro shouts
"Annalise remember what you were taught!" Bella shouts and laughs.
"Hey shut up you drunk people!" I shout back and they burst out laughing
"Ferro if you touch my sister you're dead!" Xavier shouts.
"I'll keep my distance." He says
We go into our room and he lays me down on the bed.
I yawn and close my eyes.
"You can change I'll wait for you to finish in the bathroom." He says and goes into the bathroom. I quickly get undressed and put on my pjs.
"I'm done." I shout and I comb out my hair and fasten it into a ponytail
Xavier still hasn't come out of the bathroom. I knock on the door and there's no answer.
"Xavier baby can i come in?" I ask and still no answer.
I open the door to find Xavier fast asleep on the lid of the toilet. He looks so cute.
I wake him and help him back to the bed and we cuddle.
"Good night baby I love you." I say
"I love you too." He says through his sleep and I faintly hear him snore.
What a day.
