Chapter 25

After a few minutes we pull up to a huge mansion with flashing lights and a red carpet that goes from the beginning of the stairs to the door.

"Get out behind me and don't say anything, just smile." He says and i nod.

As soon as he gets out I hear screaming and cameras.

"Mr. Knight who is the girl in the pictures? Mr. Knight have you brought someone with you? Mr. Knight when are you planning to settle down? Mr. Knight was she just a fling?" I hear

"Calm down everyone, you will get your answers shortly." He says and puts his hand back in the car. I take it and get out.

The commotion starts up again and the cameras flash all around me. Xavier holds my hand tightly

"One at a time please." He says and everyone finally shuts up and he points to someone.

"Who is this woman and what is she to you?" He asks

"This is Annalise my girlfriend." He says and points to another.

"Is she the girl in the pictures?" He asks

"Yes she is." Xavier replies.

"You've never had a girlfriend before could She be the one?" A woman asks

"It is true that I have never had a girlfriend before and yes I do think that she is the one for me." He says

"When will we hear wedding bells ringing?" A guy asks

"Soon." I say and he smiles at me.

"No more questions." He says and wraps his hand around my waist and we go inside.

The house is beautiful, it has a huge ballroom decorated with white, gold and rose gold. A few people are dancing but most of them are talking. Men have different coloured suits on and all the woman are beautifully dressed.

I open my clutch and put back on my beautiful engagement ring.

"Good evening Mr. Knight I'm glad you could make it." A man with salt and pepper beard and hair comes up to us, he's a bit shorter than Xavier but still taller than me. Hes with a beautiful woman, she looks old as well and she has two huge diamonds on her ring finger.

"Good evening Mr. Graziano, Mrs. Graziano, this is my fiancee Annalise Smith, Annalise these are my business partners." He says and we greet each other.

"You are a lovely lady Miss. Smith take good care of yourself we hope to get news of an heir to the Knight fortune soon." Mr. Graziano says and I blush.

"Go enjoy the party." Mrs. Graziano says and Xavier and I walk down the stairs hand in hand. The ballroom goes quiet and everyone looks at us as we walk down.

When we reach the bottom Xavier wraps his hand around my waist and continues walking.

"Are you okay? You don't look okay?" I ask. His facs looks emotionless and so does his eyes and it scares the he'll out of me.

"I'm fine, I need to keep my business face on or else I'll lose my respect and the fear that most of these people have for me. I'm just so happy that everyone is going to know that you are mine and no one else's." He says

"When did i say I was yours?" I ask in a playful voice and he smiles at me. And now I can see the love in his eyes

It's love! That was the emotion insaw but couldn't make out.

"Ace this is Annalise, love I told you about Ace." Xavier says and I didn't even realise we stopped walking.

In front of me stands a man that is around Xaviers height with broad shoulders and even through the suit you can see that he works out. He has brown eyes and dark brown hair, styles back as well, i can see parts of a tattoo sticking out of his shirt. He doesn't have beard.

"Wow so you're the woman that has my brother wrapped around her finger?" He asks playfully. He has a deep voice and his accent is deeper than Xaviers.

"That would be me." I say with a smile.

"Where is Ferro?" Xavier asks

"You know how we are I'm the man of action, youre the brains and he's the bait." Ace says and Xavier snickers

"Getting info from girls, I want to introduce Annalise to a few more people, don't let her out of your sight or I swear to god I will take your eyes out with a spoon." Xavier says

"Yes brother now go before I steal your girl." He says

"You wish, come love let's go." Xavier says

"Love? Wow wow wow now I'm speechless." Ace says

"If you're speechless then why are you still talking?" Xavier asks and we walk away.

I look around the room and see that people are litterally staring at us.
We walk to a table that have a lot of people sitting around it talking. There are two open seats, Xavier pulls out my chair and I sit while he sits next to me.

"Mr. Knight, nice to see you again who is this lovely lady?" A guy around Xaviers age asks. He has black hair and brown eyes.

"Everyone this is my fiancee Annalise Smith." He says and all around the table you just see shocked faces.

"Fiancee? No one even knew that you had a girlfriend." Some other guy says

"Well now you know." He simply says

"Xavier!" A high pitch voice shouts. A girl maybe Xaviers age with bold hair and brown eyes throws her arms around Xaviers neck. She's wearing a blue short dress, I would've said she was beautiful but it looks awful with her hands all over my man.

"Candice." Xavier says as he remobes her hands from around his neck.

"I hear that you've come with someone, I didn't know you were the bitch type." She says and people around the table start gossiping

"She isn't a birch she's my..." He says but I cut him off

"Who the hell do you think you are to touch my man like that?" I ask in a soft voice. She turns to look at me

Now shes going to see whose a birch
