Chapter 72

The rays of the sun warms my eyes and I sit up and rub my eyes. I take my phone out from under the pillow and dial Xavier's number and he answers immediately.

"Love, are you alright?" His husky voice asks and I sigh.

"I'm fine, we're fine, have you been able to find me?" I ask and he sighs.

"It takes longer than expected love, you are in Italy, that's the most we know so far, have they done anything to you?" He asks full of concern.

"No, Jason is taking care of me but Valentino doesn't like me." I say

"Valentino too?" He asks

"Yip, I miss you and I love you so much." I say when I hear footsteps come towards the door.

"I love you too, take care of yourself." He says and I sigh and hangup. I put the phone between the mattress and the base.

Mary comes in with a plate and a smile on her face.

"Good morning dear, how did you sleep?" She asks and takes a seat next to me on the bed.

"Morning, okay I guess and you ma'am?" I ask and she chuckles.

"Dear please call me Mary everyone does, Valentino tells me that you need some medication." She says and takes out a pen and paper from her apron pocket.

"Do you have children Mary?" I ask and she nods

"A son but I haven't seen him in years, he hates Valentino, after what he did to his friend and for the fact that I don't want to quit my job." She  says

"Can I trust you?" I ask and she nods.
"I'm pregnant, but only two weeks so far, I was hoping if you could please get me the vitamins I need and please don't tell anyone." I say as I hold her hands.

"I'm so sorry that Valentino did this to you, I'll find someway to get you out of here." She says as her eyes tears up and she pulls me into a hug.
"Wait, what happened to your face?" She asks as she starts assessing my face.

"I fell." I say

"On both sides of your face really? Did Valentino do this to you?" She asks and I nod my head
"I'm so sorry, he wasn't always like this, if only the boys were here, he wouldn't have done anything like this." She says

"I hope Xavier finds me." I say as I place my hands on my tummy.

"Xavier who dear?" She asks

"Xavier Knight, my husband." I say and her eyes go wide.

"Dear, I know Xavier, he's Amanda's boy right?" She asks and I nod.
"Ferro Martinez is my son." She says and my eyes go wide.

"Ferro Martinez as in Ferro Ferro, hyper active crazy Ferro?" I ask and she nods as tears roll down her eyes.

"How is he?" She asks

"He's fine, he's in love." I say

"Bella right?" She asks and I nod.
"They've always been in love, since the first time he saw her." She says with a smile and I pull her in for a hug.
"I lied to you, I want to leave but Valentino won't let me and I can't tell Ferro." She says as more tears roll down her face.

"We'll get out of here, do you know where exactly we are?" I ask.

"In a warehouse in Venice in Italy, let me go get you your meds and vitamins and you need to eat." She says and gets up, I nod and start eating the muesli and yoghurt with berries.

She goes out and I pull the phone out and dial Xavier's number and he picks up.

"Baby, we're in a warehouse in Venice, you need to help get Ferro's mother out of here too." I say

"Mary? She's still on Valentino's side." He says

"No, she's helping me, she's getting ne meds for the baby and giving me food and stuff." I say and he sighs.

"The signal that we're tracking you on is extremely weak buy I'm on my way to Venice right now I'm already in Italy, I'll see you soon love." He says and the phone is ripped from my hand and I get  hard slap across my face, I scream in pain and look up to see a furious Valentino. He puts the phone on speaker and smirks.

"Are you talking to your hubby, huh bitch!?" He shouts

"Annalise, I swear to god if you lay a finger on her." Xavier shouts.

"Ooh I plan on putting stuff in her old friend, now you little whore are going to get punished." He says and grabs my hair.
"Let your husband hear how you beg me to stop." He says and rips my shirt.

"Stop it you mother fucker!" I shout and close my boobs and I kick him hard against his chest but he stands his ground.

"Leave her! You want me right!? Come and get me! I'll give you whatever you want jut don't fucking touch her!" Xavier screams.

"I want everything, all your properties, your businesses, your cars, everything. I'll send you the location and the time but I wanna taste her first." He says and pins me down on the bed. I lift my leg to kick him again buy he blocks it and starts licking down my neck.

I swear, I try not to cry or scream but it just comes out as I struggle against his hold.

"Please don't do this, I'll do whatever yo want just don't rape me." I say between sobs when he starts sucking on my nipple.

"Shut the fuck up bitch!" He says and starts unbuttoning my pants and that's when I grab his dick and pull it. He rolls off me and I get up and jump on his chest and the door bursts open.

"Get out Valentino!" Mary shouts  and I get off the bed I grab the phone and I go sit on my knees in the corner farthest from the bed.

"Xavier." I say through sobs.

"I'm coming love." He says and Valentino comes over and grabs the phone out of my hand and he throws it against the wall, shattering it completely.

"We're moving, you better thank Mary you little slut." He sneers  and walks out of the room, banging the door shut behind him.

I sob on my hands and knees and Mary comes to my side and comforts me as best as she could, which really wasn't a lot but its the thought that counts. After I don't know how long I sobered up and got up.

"Mary could you please get me some clean clothes or just a shirt would be fine too?" I ask and she nods and heads out.

I have made a decision to live and to survive.
For me
For Xavier
And most importantly
For my baby

I won't be a weak girl anymore, I'll be a mother in a few months and I need to protect my baby.
