Chapter 27

I turn around and see a tall man with dark brown hair and green eyes. He's wearing a black and white suit. He is handsome but Xaviers way hotter.

"Valentino what a not so pleasant surprise." Xavier says and his hand on my thigh tightens.

"Oh Xavier still stuck in the past, I told you that she was a bitch." Valentino says and now it feels like Xavier is going to break my thigh, so I push his hand off or at least I try.

"Xavier, your hurting me." I whisper as Valentino sits next to me. He removes his hand immediately and looks into my eyes.

"I'm sorry I..." He says but I cut him off.

"It's okay." I say with a soft smile.

"Who is this pretty lady? How much did you pay her?" Valentino asks

"I'm not a fucking hore, who are you?" I ask the guy and he looks shocked.

"Ooh feisty, ditch him and come home with me, I can give you more money with an ass lik..." That's all we head from Valentino then a fist collides with his has making him fall on the floor. Ace is holding his fist in his hand. People start running to us to probably go and gossip.

"Leave before he kills you." Ace says.
"I'm doing you a favour." Ace says and Valentino stands up and dusts off his suit.

"You always did have a hand on you Ace, I will have you." He says to me and now I lost it.

"Go fuck yourself." I say and he tells eveyone to go away then he walks off.

"Calm down Ace he wasn't going to touch her." Ferro says

"Who is he?" I ask

"An old friend but he did somethig that made me hate him." Xavier says
"Stay away from him, if you see him and you're alone call me and run." Xavier says with concern in his voice and his eyes.

"Okay, is he the Angela guy?" I ask and they all just nod.

"Let's go dance." Xavier says and I smile and place my hand in his. We walk to the centre of the dance floor and just as the music begins we start dancing.

"You're a really good dancer." I say

"I used to dance with my mother all the time. Alex never wanted to and father was always at work and she was lonely so I kept her company by learning different danced." He says

"That's so nice, I really like the sweet Xavier, you should show him more often." I say with a smile

"Only to you, you are so bellisima." He says

"Why thank you. How many languages do you speak?" I ask

"7." He says and my eyes grow wide

"You have got to teach me Italian." I say

"Why Italian?" He asks

"I wanted to learn it since I read a romance book about an Italian guy with green eyes and black hair, the writer always used Italian words and it sounded so romantic and sexy." I say

"Do you want me to speak Italian with you?" He asks with a smirk.

"Not when you look at me like that." I say amd he laughs

"How am I looking at you?" He asks and I just look away from him.
"Why are you becoming shy love?" He asks and i shake my head.
"You are just too cute." He says

"I'm not cute. I like my coffee how i like myself." I say

"And how Do you like yourself?" He ask

"Dark, Sweet and too Hot for you." I say

"I apologize Mrs. Knight I honestly had no idea." He says and I giggle.

"I need to use the bathroom." I say

"Do you need help with your dress?" He asks with a smirk

"No, go to your friends I'll be right back." I say and he lets me go and I go to the bathroom.

I do my business and as I go out I see Valentino standing in the doorway.

"This is the ladies room, go out." I say and he just smirks

"Let me taste you sweetheart, I want to know what he sees in you." He says and starts walking towards me. I stand my ground.

"Go fuck yourself, you perv you'll never have me. Get lost!" I shout and spit on his face then I push him out of the way and run out of the bathroom.

Do people just like trying to rape me? Note the sarcasm.

I start walking once I enter the ballroom and go straight to Xavier. He's sitting with a few businessmen and I lightly tap him on his shoulder.

"Xavier can we talk?" I ask and he looks up at me.

"Excuse us." He says and stands up, he pulls me into a corner and looks into my eyes.

"I want to go home, please I'll tell you what happened once we get there. I just want you to hold me." I say and the tears start falling. I wipe them away so that my makeup doesn't get spoiled.

"What happened love? Okay we're going." He says and wraps his hands around my waist. We walk to the exit and the car is brought to us. As soon as we both get inside I start sobbing with my head on his chest, he rubs my back and says soothing works into my ears.

I don't know when but I finally fall asleep.

Xavier POV

Who the motherfucking hell did this to her?

When I find that bastard I will kill him with my bare hands.

She is finally sound asleep on my lap. When we reach our house I pick her up bridal style and take her up to our room.

With the meat she has on her bones you would think that she's heavy but she's actually very light.

I lay her down and take off her shoes then she wakes up.

"Xavier?" She asks and I go sit next to her and rub her back.

"Yes love?" I ask in a soft tone.

"I love you so much that it fucking scares the shit out of me." She says and lays her head on my chest.

She can swear? Oh now I know shits serious.

"I want to be your wife, the mother of your children, I want us to grow old together but... What if I let you down somewhere along the way, what if you don't love me forever, what if we have kids and you decide to leave me, what'll happen to us?" She asks and i lift her up so that I can look into her eyes.

"Annalise, I will never leave you and if i do I give you the right to kill me because someone else has taken over my body. You can never let me down or disappoint me and if you do we'll sort it out. I will love you even after the end of time itself, you Annalise are the keeper of my heart, it no longer belongs to me." I say

"What do you see in me? You deserve so much better than me. Someone in your class, someone that knows about living in luxury." She says

"I have done some terrible things in my life that I myself am ashamed of, I don't want a trophy wife I want a woman that loves me for me and not my money. I want someone that loves me for my personality not my status. I want someone that will bring my children into this world and will be able to take care of them, love them and be there for them when they need her. I've already found the love of my life, my soulmate, my world, my universe. Annalise you are my everything. I can't imagine what my life would be like without you in it." I say

God I live this woman.

Heyyyy my loves, funny fact when i was writing my first draft Xaviers name was actually Valentino then I changed it.
