Chapter 70

After all the family drama and everyone being cleaned up I showed everyone the ultrasound pictures, the guys saw nothing but the girls all awwed and there was a bit more crying.

The guys are all fine now and Bella and I had a little chat and she told me that she has loved him since she set eyes on him. I was so happy for them I wanted to bake a cake but Xavier wouldn't let me leave the couch and got me everything I needed.

I played the babies faint heartbeat and then everyone left, Xavier and I finished watching the entire first season of the vampire diaries, with a lot of cuddling and kissing then we went to bed.

We woke up, took a shower and packed our bags, I wasn't as sore today and I could at least walk better. Xavier took our bags to the boat and we locked up, we went to the harbour and got into our car and now we're driving home.

Xavier turns down into a empty street and two black cars are behind us and two in front of us.

"We're being followed, dial Ace." Xavier says and I just stay calm and do as I'm told.

"Yes brother?" Ace answers.

"We're being followed, trace my location and get backup, I'm gonna try to lose them." Xavier says

"Yes brother." Ace says and hangs up.

"Love, hold this and if anything happens to me you shoot okay?" He says and I nod and take the gun

"Nothing is gonna happen to you." I say and he speeds up.

He drives on the sidewalk to get past them but the ones in front of us stop and the ones at the back do too, stopping us in place, another black car rolls up but this looks more like a sports car.

A man in a suit gets out and takes off his glasses then I notice who it is, it's Xavier's old friend Jason.

Xavier gets out and makes a motion with his fingers for me to stay in the car as he mouths I love you.

Tears start rolling down my face as I watch everything unfold in front of me.

Men from the other cars jump out with large guns and Xavier locks the car with me inside.

"Xavier, old buddy, old pal, how've you been?" He asks with a sick smile on his face.

"Cut the act Jason, what do you want?" Xavier asks with anger clear in his eyes but I can see that he's scared too, but for what?

"Ooh straight to business, okay I want little Annalise there in the car." He says and I roll my eyes.

"Not her, you can have whatever you want but you can't have her." My husband says and looks back into the car.
"I love you, close your eyes love." He says and the sobs I've been trying to hold in come rushing out and I loosen my seatbelt and unlock my door and I jump out.

"Fine, take me but let him go." I say as I wipe my face.

"Annalise get back in the car." Xavier says

"I love you and I'm sorry." I say as I start walking to Jason and Xavier comes running to me but he's stopped by Jason's men, he fights them but only more and more come to stop him.

"Annalise, no, don't go, he'll kill you, take whatever you want just leave her!" He screams, still fighting, the tears run down my face and I cover my mouth to keep my sobs in as I reach Jason and he grabs my arm roughly

"You motherfucking bastard! Don't you fucking hurt her!" Xavier screams.

"I don't plan on hurting her, I just want to love and make love to her." Jason says with a sick smile and I just look away from his face.
