Chapter 18

In about 15 minutes Xavier shows up and walks to us.

He's wearing a plain black shirt with black jeans and his usual black and white sneakers, his hair is a mess on his head but he still manages to pull of that hot look.

I love this man.

"Ooh look who's here." Amanda says

"Oh my night in shining armor." My mother says and they laugh

"Good afternoon ladies." Xavier says with a smile

"Xavier my dear son please take good care of Annalise, don't scare her off." Amanda says trying to contain her laughter

"Why on earth would I scare her off and with what?" He asks getting annoyed

"Emily what was it that scared you away from your husband?" Amanda asks with a smirk

"That one thing can make you run for the hills." My mother says and joins in on the smirk

"And that is...?" Amanda says

And the next thing they say together makes me bang my head on the table and throw my arms over my head from embarrassment.

"That monster in their pants." They say together.

"What the...? Mother! Annalise can we go please?" He asks but I don't lift my head which only makes them laugh louder.

"Leave me alone I'm going to granny's." I say with my head still on the table

Did they plan this? They probably did.

"Come on princess, you need to stop being such a... princess and if you do the deed please use protection." She says and now I lift my head

"Emily! I will tell daddy that you broke the watch his grandfather gave him." I say and her eyes widen

"You wouldn't dare." She says

"Oh I am your daughter after all. Bye ladies I'm going to my mans house." I say with a smile. And they start cheering.

I stand up and only take my forever 21 bag.

"What about the rest I'm not taking them home let Xavier help you." My mother says and passes the 6 Victoria's secret bags and I take them.

They give him my other bags and we walk out with a wave.

"Let me help you." He says as we walk through the mall. I give him 2 bags and we keep on walking.

People walking past us give is smiles and some give strange looks.

"Why are the people looking at us like that?" I ask

"Most of these bags are Victoria's secret so..." He says with a smirk and I just look in front of me as we walk to his car.

We put the bags in the boot and get in.

"How was your day?" Xavier asks

"I actually did enjoy myself with some girl talk, our mothers are almost exactly the same, they kept on teasing me. I am never going anywhere with the both of them again." I say and he starts laughing
"Why are you laughing?" I ask

"The same thing happened to me, when I got to my parents house. Our father's showed up and decided to have some man talk which mostly involved making fun of me, but I got to see a new part of Daniel ." he says with a smile

"Daniel? He likes you, why does your hair look like that?" I ask

"They kept ruffling my hair, do you like shopping?" He asks

"I do actually, we spent an engire hour in Victoria's secret alone, they wouldn't buy anything for themselves. Everybody told me that I was next. Next for what?" I ask

"Would You like to come go a business event with me tomorrow evening that is if you don't have class on Monday." He says and I think for a moment.

"Okay, nothing important is happening on Monday and I hate school anyway so I'm in. Wait is this a dirty dancing, drinks and drugs party or a classy dance, champagne and cocktails kind of party?" I ask

"Classy dance, champagne and cocktails kind of party." He says

"Okay then I'm in, I hate going to those other parties, girls get drugged raped and killed. You grind on people you don't even know and I just hate it." I say and think back to the times I went to parties like that for Jacob.

"Don't worry love, I won't leave your side the entire night." He says and puts his hand on my knee

"I need to get a pet name for you, you call me love what can I call you?" I ask

"Whatever you want." He says and I think

"Teddy?" I ask

"No." He says

"Pumpkin?"

"Hell no."

"Baby? No. How about bear?"

"Why bear?" He asks

"One you are huge two bears like honey and I'm sweat but honey have bees and I can sting then I'll be yoir honey." I explain.

"Maybe."

"Handsome? That won't suit you." I say with a sky smile

"What? Why not?" He asks

"Your aren't exactly handsome, you're more sexy than handsome." I say with a smirk

"You think I'm sexy?" He asks

"No I regeret missing you, I know I couldn't even sleep because I was worried that you wouldn't come back or you would get hurt Xavier I couldn't stop thinking about you." I say

"I'm here now so don't worry, I want to make it up to you." He says

"Tell me what you were talking about today." I say

"I can't not now I will I promise." He says

"Fine then I won't wear anything I bought from Victoria's today." I say

"Were you going to wear it?" He asks

"Maybe, now you'll never know." I say with an evil laugh.

"You have jokes, well see who's laughing when I'm done with you." He says and parks right in front of his door again.

"Why don't you ever park the car in the garage?" I ask as I get out and take my bags out of the boot

"Its a long way to get to the car again and I'll probably only drive this car for a few more days before I change it." He says and helps me with the bags then we go inside.

"Are you hungry?" I ask as i make my way to the kitchen.

"I missed you we can order pizza, take a shower I'll wait for you." He says

"Okay please bring my bags up." I say and he follows me back to the room I stayed in.
"Thank you, you can go out now." I say but he grabs me by my waist and pulls me close to him.

I look up into his blue orbs and he says something I never thought I would hear coming from him.
