Chapter 22

I wake up to the suns rays warming my eyes. I open my eyes and look at my surroundings, I'm laying on my fiancee's chest with his hands around my waist. He is still asleep.

He looks so peaceful in his sleep. Who knew that someone that looks so intimidating can be so loving, kind and sweet?

I move his hair out of his face and just look at him. It looks like his nose has been broken, he has a scar on his chest but it's really small. He actually isn't that perfect, I know that everybody has their flaws but he is just amazing to me.

I look at my hand with the ring on and smile from ear to ear.

"I'm getting married to the man I love, I am blessed." I whisper and struggle to get up because of his heavy muscular arm.

Even in his sleep he's protecting me.

I go to the bathroom, pee, brush my teeth and go to the kitchen.

I just make us a quick breakfast and go back to his room with a tray in my hands.

When I walk in he's still asleep, he's probably tired.

"Xavier baby wake up." I say and tap his shoulder. He just turns around and groans.

"Xavier." I say a bit louder but he doesn't listen.

I roll him on his back and start kissing his face as soon as he starts kissing me back I pull away.

"Not fair i was enjoying that." He says with his voice a bit rougher in the morning due to sleep.

"Come on fiancee I made breakfast." I say and he sits up. I place the tray in front of him and We start eating.
"What does your schedule look like today?" I ask

"Just the event tonight. Why do you ask?" He asks

"We need to talk to my parents and explain everything to them, I just hope they'll understand." I say

"I asked for their concent yesterday, that's why my parents were there. Your parents already aggreed, ii took most of the time for me to convince your father." He says

"Can I borrow your phone please?" I ask and he gives it to me.

"The password is Annalise Knight." He says and I put it in. His wallpaper is a picture of me he probably got from Facebook.

"Can I call my mother? I don't have airtime." I say and he nods with his mouth full

I go to his contacts and call my mother.

"Hello Xavier, did something happen to Annalise?" She asks as soon as she answers

"I'm fine mommy good morning. I need to talk to you and daddy as well as Xaviers parents." I say

"Oh okay is something wrong?" She asks

"No I just need to tell everyone something see you later." I say and hang up.

"Call Amanda and ask her to go to my parents house with your father. He still scares me." I say and he chuckles

"He's the nicest to you and my mother. He almost killed me when he found out that I was in a gang." He says

"You're in a gang?" I ask

"No, I was, when I made my first million I left that life behind, they didn't want me to go, I'm still in touch with Ace and Ferro who took over when I left. I was the boss but I never killed anyone, I just needed some quick cash, my mother was in the hospital so we robbed a bank. Then I started working in the mine's and I found a diamond and decided to keep it. That is where the money for my company came from." He says
