The kidnapping had given me nightmares. The past two nights I had woken up sweating and gasping. I had my first work day back at the clubhouse and I wasn't sure how to handle it. I wanted to be back, but I was exhausted. I was still trying to get over Jax even though I wanted nothing more than to be the one he confided in.

I was up and preparing a wrap to eat before I got ready for work when I heard a knock on the door. I set the cooked chicken down and went to the door. I looked through the peep hole and I saw Tara standing there. I was confused so I opened the door, "Hey, what are you doing here?"

"Hey, can I come in?" Tara asked politely. I nodded and stepped aside for her to come in.

"Coffee?" I questioned and she shook her head no. I nodded and motioned over to the couch for her to sit down. I sat down on the chair and waited for her to speak.

"Look, I know you are family to the club, but you being around is causing problems for the club and for mine and Jax's relationship." Tara said.

"I'm not trying to cause problems for the club, everyone knows that. As for your relationship, it has nothing to do with me." I was a bit snippy but, I got my point across.

"You are close with Jax, I am not comfortable with it." She was trying so hard but I had no interest in playing games.

"Jax and I are close, yes. I don't care if you're comfortable with it or not. I would never try to take him from you. We have never done anything because we're friends. Nothing more. So, if you're done, you can go." I was annoyed that she even bothered with the 'you're going to try and take Jax away from me' speech.

"Stay away from Jax." She tried to sound like she was warning me but I ignored it.

"He's one of my best friends. So no." I showed her out and slammed the door behind her. I finished making my wrap and ate it quickly before going to get ready. I slipped on red skinny jeans, a black and red Avatar shirt and a pair of converse.

I put my hair up and put on some light makeup before grabbing my leather jacket and heading to the clubhouse. Jax and Opie were standing around talking when I got there and I debated talking to Jax about Tara. I figured it would be better to tell him since he deserved to know she doesn't trust him around me.

"Hey Jax, hey Ope." They both turned to face me and smiled.

"Hey Hadley."

"Tara came by my apartment." I said and Jax sighed and pinched his nose.

"What did she say?"

"Tried to tell me I was causing problems for the club. I guess I'm causing problems between the two of you. Then she said she wasn't comfortable that you and I are close. Then when I told her I wasn't trying to take you from her and I didn't care that she wasn't comfortable, she told me to stay away from you. I told her no." Opie sat there, listening but not saying a word.

"I'm sorry about her, she thinks I'm going to cheat on her." I shrugged at his words.

"Just thought I should tell you. You're my friend." I felt my heart crushing as he hugged me. I went into the clubhouse after and immediately got started to try and get my mind off things.

After my shift, I saw the party was still raging but the prospect took over so I could go home, but I had decided to go out and try to find a date for the night. I was desperate to get my mind off Jax. It was hard to just be friends.

As I went into a random bar in charming, I went to get a drink and found a guy sitting at the bar who looked like Dean from supernatural. I thought that seemed interesting so I went over to him, "Is this seat taken?"
