After a couple more weeks went by, things were pretty calm. The nursery was ready for the baby and I had gotten to know the big prospect Phil pretty well. Donna and the kids were spending a lot of time with me at the house since I was struggling to do a lot. We were at the club house just hanging out. Donna watched as Abel played in the playpen. I rubbed my huge belly and a sharp pain ripped through my abdomen, but I thought maybe it was just a false labor or something. I went a few hours this way, before anyone even noticed me wincing.

"Hadley, are you alright?" Phil asked softly.

"Yes, just some pain every now and then. I think it's just a false labor." I said softly.

"Are they getting closer together?" Donna questioned.

"Yes, why?" I asked as another one hit me, but this one was more intense. I grabbed my belly and pinched my eyes shut.

"Baby, you're actually in labor!" Donna smiled as she looked around for I'm assuming Opie and Jax.

"Jax! Opie!" Donna called as she wandered towards the dorms. I sat there, pinching my eyes shut. I knew it was going to happen eventually but I didn't expect it to happen this soon. Jax and Opie followed Donna back to where I was sitting. "So it's time huh?" Jax questioned.

"I guess so." I told him.

"How far apart are the contractions?" Donna asked me.

"About 8 minutes." I told her.

"So one should be coming about now?" Donna questioned with a grin. I rolled my eyes as I stood up. I began walking out to the car when another one hit me. I groaned and pinched my eyes shut.

"Fuck." I said, more annoyed. I kept walking and got into the passenger side of my car.

"Someone get in the fucking drivers seat. We need to get this fucking satan out of my womb." I heard them chuckling as Jax strolled over and got into the drivers seat. Opie and Donna took his bike while Happy and Chibs took their own bikes. It didn't take long to get to the hospital but I felt a contraction on the way. I groaned as we got out of the car. I walked in slowly with pretty much all of the guys and Donna beside or behind me.

"Jesus christ Jackson, never again." I growled at him as most of the guys laughed. We checked into the hospital and we got into a room. I changed into the hospital gown and got onto the bed and then my water broke. "Fuck that's gross!" I whined.

I heard Jax and Donna start chuckling again. "I thought the same thing," Donna agreed.

I groaned as another one hit me. It was after this point that they became more frequent and the labor went by slowly. It took 13 long hours before baby Thomas was born.

I laid there with Jax, Donna, Opie, Chibs, and Happy in the room. The baby went to the nursery in the hospital so I could try to relax for a few minutes before visiting hours were over and I fell asleep.

"How are you doing?" Donna asked me with a smile. I gave her a tired smile. "I'm alright. Extremely tired." I told her softly.

"Get some sleep babe. I'll go check on Thomas. We'll let you get some sleep." Jax said, kissing me softly and getting up. I nodded and yawned after he kissed me and then I closed my eyes.

The next morning, Jax brought Thomas into the room and I breastfed him. I was physically exhausted still. But nevertheless, I was happy. During the next couple of days, I was able to get out of the hospital and I took baby Thomas and Abel to the club house to meet everyone. I walked in and everyone stood around talking. "Hadley!"

"Hi guys!" I gave them a smile. Jax sauntered over and gave me a kiss before hugging Abel and rubbing his fingers on Thomas' belly. I gave him a smile and then gave Chibs a hug. At that moment, there were feelings of peace and safety being with everyone.

However, it didn't take long before the feeling disappeared. As soon as Clay entered the room with Gemma, who I had no idea was even back, everything changed. Everyone greeted them with open arms. Even me, who hated Clay.

"Wow, Thomas really looks like Jax." Clay commented and I nodded. "Definitely. He doesn't look like me at all."

I gave a fake smile, trying to be civil. Clay actually grinned a little bit. "Look, it's no secret that we've had our issues. I haven't trusted you when I vouched for you at the beginning. Happy, Chibs, and Jax trust you. I trust my guys." He said and then my jaw dropped. Physically, I was shocked. Everyone started to chuckle.

"We'll see." I stated as I came back to reality. He shrugged and turned to talk with Tig, but gave a nod to Jax.

"How many hours?" Gemma asked me.

"From contractions to finish, it was about 15 hours." Gemma nodded at my words, but she replied pretty quickly. "That's pretty good for a first time mom."

"Yeah, it wasn't bad at all. The contractions could have been worse." I said as I fiddled with my sleeve.

Donna held Thomas carefully but it made me smile. I was so glad to have Donna with me during this. Turns out, not everyone had the support system I did. "The weight is falling right off you!" Donna said with a smile.

"Really? Ugh, I've been working out as much as I can. It's been slower than I want." I told her nervously.

"Mommy!" Abel grabbed my shirt. I picked him up and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"Honey, you just gave birth a few days ago, you look great!" Gemma grinned.

"Thank you." I gave them a smile as the music changed from Cinderella to Motley Crue. I swayed to Kickstart My Heart with Abel.

"Dance!" Abel giggled at me. I spun around with him in my arms and giggled back at him.

"I love you mommy!" I smiled at Abel with so much love in my heart that nothing could ruin it. "I love you Abel, more than you know."

Jax stepped over and kissed Abel's forehead as we swayed. "Seems like Tommy wants his daddy." Donna said as he gently gave Thomas to Jax. I grinned. Nothing made me happier than this family we made together and the other relationships on the mend.
