AMELIAS POV
I opened my eyes and looked at the clock. Ugh school.
"Josephine," I joked and nudged her.
"What," she complained.
"Get up we're going to school," I said.
"I don't want to," she said.
"Come on," I said and nudged her again.
"Fine," she said and got up to go shower. I walked downstairs and Meredith was making breakfast.
"Good morning," she said.
"Morning," I said.
"No Jo?" She asked.
"Shower," I said.
"How's she doing?" She asked.
"She's getting better," I said.
"That's good," Meredith said. I started eating breakfast and I picked up my phone.
"Can we hangout today? Just us?" Link sent. I felt bad because ever since Jo was living with me we didn't see each other as much.
"Yes," I sent.
"Perfect," he sent.
"After school? My place?" He sent as a follow up text.
"Sounds perfect," I sent. Jo came downstairs dressed and sat down next to me.
"I have news," she said. Meredith and I both looked up at her.
"What's up?" I asked.
"I got a job," she smiled.
"That's awesome Jo," I said and hugged her.
"And my social worker needs me to move back into my foster home," she sighed, "and I know I've been imposing so I'm okay to leave. I packed my stuff after my shower and I'm going to go back tonight."
"You have to go?" Meredith said.
"Yes, and it's fine really. All of you have been wonderful to me. I appreciate it so much really. Thank you guys for everything, but I do have to go back, to the foster home, and my job, but I'll be okay," Jo said.
"If you ever need anything you call me okay? Or Link," I said.
"Or Derek or I at the hospital," Meredith said.
"We're all here for you," I said.
"Thank you," Jo said and hugged me.
LINKS POV
"I have news!" Jo smiled as her and Amelia got out of the car.
"Lemme hear it," I said as the three of us walked into school.
"I got a new job!" Jo said.
"That's awesome Jo," I smiled, "where at?"
"The convenience store down the road from my foster home, which I have to go back to," Jo said.
"What? Why?" I said.
"Because I technically kinda ran away and was living at Amelia's which goes against everything my social worker has been trying to help me with," she said.
"Just tell her I kidnapped you," Amelia joked.
"Don't do that," I said.
"She was kidding don't be so tense," Jo said, "it's fine, I'm fine Link. Thank you both for everything you've done for me." She walked off to get to her class and I turned to Amelia.
"She'll be okay," Amelia said.
"Yeah," I said.
"She comes to school everyday. Well still see her, and we can see how she's doing. And the three of us can still hangout like usual. Jo's strong Link, you and I both know that," Amelia said and kissed my cheek.
"Yeah, you're right," I said.
"So what do you want to do later?" Amelia asked cutely as she grabbed her textbooks.
"My moms at work so," I said.
"Okay," she smirked, "can we stop at the hospital before though I have to pick up Bailey's letter."
"Yeah sure," I said.
"And Derek told me he was almost done with yours," she said.
"Great thank you," I said.
"But quick question he wanted to know if he hours include or exclude the time he caught you having sex with me in there," she joked.
"I hate you," I said and nudged her.
"You love me," she smirked and kissed me.
"I do love you," I said, "a lot."
"I love you a lot too," she smiled.
AMELIAS POV
I walked into the hospital with Link and I saw Derek in the ER.
"What are you doing here are you okay?" He asked as he came over to us.
"Dude I'm getting my letter from Bailey chill out," I said, "everything's fine."
"Okay," he said, "hey Link."
"Hi," Link said.
"What are you doing after this?" Derek asked.
"I'm going to Link's, I'll be home for dinner," I said.
"Okay, Meredith's making chili for dinner," Derek said.
"Sounds good, I'll see you later," I said, "go back to the ER people might actually be dying."
"Okay okay," he said. Link and I walked over to the elevator and I pressed the button. We got in and I hit the button for Bailey's floor. We walked out and I knocked on her office door.
"Come in!" She said. I opened the door and she smiled.
"Hey," she said as I walked in.
"Hey," I smiled, "thank you so much for writing it again."
"You're welcome honey, it was an easy letter to write of course," she smiled and handed me an envelope.
"Thank you," I smiled as I left.
-
I was laying next to Link on the couch watching TV.
"When's your mom coming home?" I asked.
"Few hours, why?" He said.
"Well because," I chuckled.
"Because why," he joked.
"Because," I laughed and took my shirt off. He chuckled as he took his shirt off too and I climbed on top of him. I leaned down and kissed him as he flipped us over.
"We really can't do it on your couch," I chuckled as he kissed my neck.
"Why not," he said.
"Your mother sits on this couch!" I laughed as I felt him unzip my jeans.
"Flip the couch cushions over," he joked.
"Not funny," I said and hit his chest.
"Fine we can go upstairs," he said and grabbed our clothes as he chased me up the stairs.
