Chapter 23

Genova's Point Of View

Ive been all around town trying to find any sight of Matt but as of right now I haven't succeeded. Ive asked around, Ive asked the guys and girls but nothing. I was the last to see Matt. Ive probably visited every place in this town but nothing. I was starting to run out of places to look for Matt. All but one

Flashback 

' Hey Matt I know five minutes ago you said you weren't going to tell me but where we going today? ' I asked glancing Matt's way. ' It's a secret babe ' Matt said smiling. ' So you can call me a pet name but you can't tell me where we're going ' I laughed. ' That is right ' Matt answered. ' Ugh you know I hate secrets Matt but still you do this ' I groan.

  ' I know babe I just really like teasing you ' Matt smirks reversing out of the drive way. ' Are we there yet ? ' I asked. ' We just left the drive way Genova ' Matt chuckled. ' Are we there now ? ' I asked again. ' Nope ' Matt muttered continuing to drive. 

' Are we there yet ? ' I asked for the third time. ' Yes ' Matt said turning right. ' Really ? ' I perched up. ' Nope ' Matt muttered causing me to sink in my seat. ' Babe I don't care how much you ask I am a patient man I will not get sick of you asking and plus we are there yet ' Matt said smiling proudly at his own ' Matt pun ' as he likes to call it.' Dork ' I scoffed playfully.

' Stop it you love me ' Matt grins getting out of his car. I get out of the car as well and I follow behind him. I looked around to see a forest and a waterfall. ' Wow it's beautiful ' I smiled. ' How'd you find this place ? ' I asked as we both sat on this rock that seemed to be safe enough to sit on. 

' When my dad passed I was really sad because we were close and he's probably the most influential man Ive ever looked up to. So one day I snuck out and drove to an unknown location and ran up this trail and I came across this place ' Matt explained whilst he took in the sight. 

Matt's Point Of View

' Okay can you stop laughing this is serious ' I groaned crossing my arms as I watched the girl hunch over in laughter at what I just said. ' Your asking me, out of all people to turn you ? ' Maddison asked continuing to laugh in my face. ' Why can't you ask one of Genova's minions to turn you ? ' she asked. 

' Cause Genova told them to never include me in anything they do Vampire related so I think turning me into one is out of the question ' I scoffed. ' Hey your asking me to turn you into a Vampire so if I were you id lose the attitude ' Madison barked making me sigh. ' Please Maddison you need to turn me. 

The Vampire Council found out that I knew their beings existed so they gave me the death penalty ' I explained. ' The death penalty ? ' Madison chucked. ' I mean they're killing me cause I breached one of their rules that's exactly how it is with the human term death penalty ' I stated as Madison moved towards me.

  ' Tell me baby why do you wanna turn ? is being powerless getting boring to you ? '  Maddison seductively muttered. ' W-what ? ' I asked. ' Are you tired of watching Genova and her friends run super speed while your stuck with your human speed ?, Are you tired of having to face consequences while Genova and her friends can compel anyone they want to ?

 ' Madison smirked. ' Are those the reasons why you wanna turn or is there another reason ? ' she asked ' U-Uh i-its because I uh ' I stuttered having trouble compiling a sentence as she circles around me. ' Am I making you nervous baby ? ' Maddison whispered leaning closer to me. 

' N-no uhh I'm j-just ' I kept stuttering. ' Stop stuttering baby just tell me why you wanna turn into a Vampire so bad and I will ' Maddison said starting to kiss my neck. ' I-I want you to turn me so that I can be with Genova ' I finally spilled out pushing Madison off me .

 Once Genova's name spilled from my lips I almost regretted saying it. Seeing how much of an impact her name was to Madison. I watched as Maddison's face turned from flirty to angry in a matter of seconds. ' Why would you want Genova baby If you can have me instead ? 

' Maddison whispered ' I want Genova not you ' I said with my teeth starting to clench. I couldn't allow her to tower over me. I had to stand my ground or wouldn't take me seriously.' Come on Matthew just pick me baby cause I'm right here ' Maddison said with her hand going down my torso and getting her lips closer to my neck. 

I don't know what she was doing to me but it was as if every time she got close to me I started to lose control. I don't know If I was doing it willingly or if she was compelling me but the very ground I stood on started to fade away along with the control of my body. 

' That's right baby choose me, calm down and let me turn you. That's what you want right ? ' Madison whispered. I thought she was simply kissing my neck as she previously did. But those assumptions were long gone as he fangs stabbed right into my neck slowly sinking within my skin in the surrounded area. 

My eyes squeezed shut as I winced in pain. I felt every single wave of pain course through my neck with every gulp of my blood Madison devoured.My eyes that were once screwed shut started to droop and darkness started to slowly take over my surroundings and my body.  I was just about to drift off..
