Chapter 13

Genova's Point Of View

It was now the end of the meeting and I was still shaken to the core. It didn't even help that I was a Repitory this was still as terrifying as it was conveyed. Yes I may be one of the most powerful vampires, yes I would probably be able to beat our enemies but what about my friends. There's no way I could be with them 24/7 so what if they get targeted when Im not around. There was no way Jessica could fight, there was no way Shawn could save himself, there was no way Cameron could stay breathing. I was scared. I couldn't lose my friends. I just couldn't.

I opened my door to my bed room only to see Matt who was seated on my bed. ' What are you doing here ? ' I questioned calmly. Matt stood up and started to walk up to me. ' I just came here to talk ' he explained. ' Matt there is nothing to talk about I need you to stay away Matt please ' I groan getting annoyed with his stubbornness. ' This is why I'm here in the first place Genova I need to know why your making me stay away ' 

 Matt said looking at me with pleading eyes. ' Matt can't you just stay away ? I don't have to give you some sort of reasoning just go '  I yelled. But I guess that yell was for nothing. I turn my attention to Matt to see that he was standing his ground. He wasn't going to leave without an answer and I knew that.

  ' You have to leave ' I said opening my door but it was just slammed shut again by Matt's arm. ' You really don't listen do you Gen ? I said I'm not leaving till I get a reasoning as to why I'm suddenly not allowed around you ' Matt bickered. ' Woah and he says I don't listen ? after countless times I've told him to leave Matt your a hypocrite ' 

I huffed turning at my heels in the direction of my bathroom. But I didn't get far when I felt Matt wrap his hand around my forearm grabbing and yanking it forward. '  Matt what are y- ' The words following that sentence never made it out of my mouth as it couldn't. It was stranded in the way of his soft plump lips on mine. I couldn't help but kiss back. 

The feelings of our lips on one another was the only sensation I could feel from any part of my body. Our lips were moving in sync as he hungrily kissed at mine. Matt took no time in pushing me up against a wall making a loud bang erupt in the room. He was in control. I had no part in what was going to happen next. 

He was the dominant one in this situation as he separated from my lips and started to trail kisses down my jaw line to my neck leaving hot wet patches in its trail ' mmm Matt ' I moaned. That moan allowed me to feel the smile that Matt held against my neck. 

He continued to work on my neck sending me pleasure but I was soon broke out of it remembering what we were arguing about in the beginning. So I placed both my hands on Matt's broad chest and pushed him off with all my strength. ' Matt please for the last time stop I need you to stay away I mean it '  I begged. ' Why Genova why all Im asking for is a reason why . I'm not leaving. Your telling me to do all these damn things and you don't even have a reason for them ' 

 Matt pleaded with such agony in his tone. ' You have to stay away from me Matt your gonna be in danger because of me and I can't have that happen because I dont know what I would so if something happened to you ' I said in a whispered voice.

Matt's Point Of View

Genova stood there looking venerable as ever. There's nothing more I wanted to do than pull Genova to my chest and tell her everything is going to be okay and that what ever she was saying was untrue. But she still didn't do it. She still did not provide me with the answer I needed from her. All of today she had been playing around with me, 

as if we were in an endless game of tag trying to find an answer. But she just refuses to. Again and again I have been pleading for an answer but nothing.  I now stared at the upset girl in front of me. I no longer wanted to pull her into my chest. I just wanted to get away from her. I looked into her eyes once more pleading to just get her to answer me but I was just presented with silence. So I shook my head breaking contact with her.

 I swing the door open and walk through it. I jog down her stairs and make my way for the front door. As I do so the sounds of her footsteps pad behind me giving me some sort of hope. I turn around for Genova to have her put both of her hands on either side of my face and stare deeply into my eyes. 

you will stay away from me no questions asked 

And just like that Im out the door.
