Chapter 18

Genova's Point Of View

' You saved me ' Matt muttered breaking the silence that over took us after the kiss was initiated ' I wasn't gonna let you die ' I whispered. ' Genova im so so sorry that I called you a monster ' Matt murmured. ' It's okay Matt I get it you were scared discovering the unknown can mess with your head, I see where your coming from '  

I explained helping Matt up from my lap. ' No Genova what I said was way out of line. I had no right to act the way I did when I figured out what you guy's were ' Matt explained taking the blame. ' Don't feel to bad it's not the first time someone's done that to me ' I joked trying to lighten the mood though it the exact opposite. 

' Which part ? ' Matt asked. With the words that escaped his lips the thought of Brent instantly flew into my mind. Although it happened so long ago it was still a touchy subject to talk about, so I just shook my head agreeing with the statement. ' I am a monster ' I whispered thinking of time that I lost my first love to the darkness. 

Not intending to do so, a warm tear trickled down my cheek staining it with a trail filled with pain. ' Your not a monster '  Matt whispered picking up my head with my chin. Making full eye contact with me. In doing so Matt's eyes flickered from my eyes to my lips slowly leaning in. I was unknown to the action. I didn't even think about wanting to kiss Matt but here I was leaning in. ' Matt.. ' I whispered trying to do something to stop myself but Matt just shook his head and connected our lips. 

I didn't kiss back at first the thought of Cameron instantly filling my mind. But when our lips connected something inside me ignited causing Cameron's silhouette to slowly disperse from my head till his picture was completely erased from my head. Matt snaked his arms around me lifted me onto his lap so that I was straddling him. 

Matt then detached our lips and started attacked my neck with such force that made my mouth say uncontrollable things. ' Matt that feels so good ' I moaned. It was at this moment when Matt laid me down so that I asunder him giving him the dominance card. But there was no way I was handing that to him. 

So I then sped us over so that I ended up on top. I once again straddled Matt's lap which was now laid flat,taking off my shirt revealing my bra. Matt just moaned at the sight and licked his lips studying my body. I trailed my hands to his shirt ripping it open to reveal his torso before tossing it to the side starting the gentle assault on his body that made him erupt in moans. Our lips moved in sync like they were made for each other. 

Matt and I made out not knowing the concept of time as we were in our own little world surrounded by pure passion and just each other. We finally came to a halt both breathless gazing into each others eyes. ' You saved my life today even when I hurt you Genova, I just wanted to say that I'm really sorry ' Matt apologised still staring into my eyes. I just smiled and pecked his lips. '  I forgive you Matt it doesn't pose as a huge issue ' I whispered.

There I sat in the comfort of my room as Matt sat alongside me asking the most peculiar questions. I just laughed ' Ive been a Vampire my whole life, blood tastes exactly how its smells metallic,  yes we can see in the dark and I don't think that's a thing I going over his last question. Matt was about to open his mouth once again when I took my hand and slapped it over his mouth. 

' How about you come over tomorrow with the whole gang and you can ask us any question you want ' I suggested getting tired of answering his questions; alone that is. ' Yeah sure ' Matt agreed as he stood up following me into the bathroom. I walked up right up to my mirror and stared at myself. ' Oh shit ' I muttered 

looking at the hickey's that were placed all over my neck, my jaw, chest and upper stomach. I looked at Matt sending a glare his way as I poked a love bite hissing at the pain. Matt just looked at me and cheekily smiled. 

I shook my head and bit into my wrist feeding myself my own blood and stared through the mirror at my hickey as they slowly started to fade away. I kept drinking until it was completely gone. Matt just stared at me with amazement. ' What you just did is what people do when they suck their own blood from a would claiming that their losing blood ' Matt quoted chuckling. 

But by the looks on his face I knew he wanted to say something but was holding it in. ' What's going on in that curious mind of your Matt ? '  I asked. Matt just stared at me contemplating if he should say what ever it is he wanted; deciding within a few seconds that he should ' c-can I try ? ' Matt asked. When those words left his lips I knew exactly what he meant. I was unsure whether I should let him since he wasn't going to like the taste but I just nodded letting him try it. 

I took a blade and made a slit into my neck. Once the cut was made I propped myself up and sat up on my counter top motioning Matt to come closer and have a try at my neck. I watched as Matt hesitated at first but then leaned into my neck attaching his mouth to it. He applied a little pressure started to suck my blood. It felt amazing to me mimicking the feeling of love bites making my eyes flutter shut. 

Matt sucked my blood for a bit then stopped pulling his mouth from my neck watching as the slit slowly closed; he quickly pecked my neck where I had made the slit then turned back at the mirror gazing at himself. He tried to look for the hickey I left on his body  and soon found it making his eyebrows furrow in confusion.

  ' What ? ' he whispered as I examined Matt's neck. ' When a human drinks vampire blood it only heals them of physical wounds but when it comes to bruises and hickey's they don't heal since they're just blood vessels that have popped which is a natural thing to happen on humans ' I explained. ' Im surprised you were able to drink and keep the blood down since humans aren't immune to drink blood due to its metallic taste; how does it taste for you ? '
