Chapter 45

Jessica's Point Of View

I closed my eyes placing both my hands on Gilinsky's heart. The beating of his heart was completely gone but in order to do what I needed to I needed his body to be to have some sort of life in it. I moved my hands around his body scanning him. I moved onto his lower abdomen where there were still a few veins that were still working. ' His veins are still pumping blood ' I gasped looking up at Cameron.

Everyone's eyes went wide and crowded around Jack's barely living body. ' Work your magic Jess ' Lucy smiled rubbing her hand on top of mine. I returned the smile and nodded. I took both my hands and placed it gently on Jack' s heart applying a bit of pressure.

Bring this dead person back to life. 

I whispered holding my lips close to his ear. When a supernatural being dies. Within the first few minutes in order to bring them back you must chant the spell into their ear. This only succeeds if the dead person from the other side is able to hear the chant so it gives them a key to cross over. Time is crucial in this spell, if any is wasted they may be trapped there forever. 

Johnson's Point Of View

I fell to my knees staring at the earth's ground allowing the smell of the earth lingered in my nose. The tears that left my eyes glided down my cheeks hot and salty. My lips were pursed in a line to stop myself from letting out loud cries.

I stared up at the sky getting infuriated with the moon. ' Why did you have to take Jack ? ' I whispered at the sky. ' WHY ' I yelled clenching my jaw. ' What did I ever do to you huh ?. I never did anything that would harm others and you take away the only person I have left.

When my mom abandoned me at the park that day she told me that everything happens for a reason but I have no fucking idea what Jack's death has to do with my future. We have never taken things for granted and you do this to me ?! ' 

I was angry.

My head fell down so I was having eye contact with the ground again. All my emotions came at me all at once making me feel weak. 

Even though we both use black magic and continuously broke the vampire rules we have never used our full power to hurt anyone, the safety of others is always on mine and Jack's mind. So the thought of the universe taking Jack from me seems so unfair.

I shook my head still not understanding why they've done this to me. ' Why would you do this to me ? Why did you have to take Jack away from me ? Why why why..

Why do things always happen to the people that don't deserve it All I want is my best friend back ' I whispered staring up at the sky. ' I want my brother back ' I whispered...

Jessica's Point Of View

Genova's Point Of View

' Hello my dear sister ' Madison smirked circling my body. ' Your boyfriends cute by the way ' she smiled kicking the side of Matt's body.

My mouth was dry and dropped open. My mind hasn't even processed that Matt has been stabbed. My heart feels like it's been shot ten times one after another. Matt's body laid on the ground with blood oosing out his chest. Matt's eyebrows are furrowed in pain

Along with his teeth biting down on his lips that are starting to draw blood. ' M-Matt ' I cried trying to get up when another sudden pang of pain struck right through my body like I was struck by lightning making me scream out arching my back squeezing my eyes shut

' Aw poor Genova too weak to help her little boyfriend ' Madison smirked. ' P-please Madison please help him ' I cried holding my stomach in pain feeling my stab that Jason has created while he held me hostage.

' Why would I Genova ? You tried to kill me l I can't let that slide so now he has to die ' she smiled. Matt's eyes weakly opened staring up at me. '  I-I love you Genova ' Matthew whispered, echoing in my mind.

' I love you too Matt stay strong baby please don't leave me here ' I cried pursing my lips together. ' Hm I wonder what would happen if I did this ' Madison said pointing her nail and slicing a slit across Matt's neck making more blood ooze out.

Matt let out another loud cry of pain. It was now running throughout his whole body. My eyebrows knit together. I was furious. '  LEAVE HIM ALONE ' I screamed channeling all my energy. I was too weakly to help Matt. But I couldn't just let him die there. I had to help him. I stood up holding onto the couch for balance

' What are you gonna do Genova your weak you might as well give up and die with your little lover here. I would love a vampire Romeo and Juliet ' Madison smirked. I squinted my eyes pushing off my heels jumping right on top of Madison.

I threw a punch as hard as I could landing it square in her jaw. I threw another punch hitting her in the eye. I channelled all my strength into my arm immediately feeling light headed and dizzy. My arm felt like it was gonna fall off with how weak I was. I looked across to see Matt's eye dropping shut as his chest slightly moved

up and down as he took breaths. I threw the last punch which headed in Madison's way but then as soon as it was about to make contact with her face her hand grabbed my fist flinging it across the other side of her body completely throwing my body across the room.

I hit the wall groaning in pain as my vision blurred. ' Just quit already Genova. Just fucking die already how dare you think you can have an amazing life with mom ' she screamed. ' She gathered everything she owned and fleed with only you.  I grew up with no mother crying every single time it was Mother's day when everyone had their mother's showering them with love then there I was with no mother wishing I fucking had one ' 

Now you have to feel what I felt my whole life ' Madison whispered bringing up a wooden stake. ' Bye bye big sister ' she slowly muttered. I closed my eyes not wanting to see what was gonna happen next because I knew exactly where this was heading. I love you Matthew lee I thought.  and with that a whirl wind sped right past me with a bang.
